Www p5K - Day 18 and Day 19

Yesterday was Friday, well I’m sure you don’t need the commentary 
But I do love to state the obvious 
Why? Just because it gets your eyes rolling
Let's talk about our day?

What? About another weather forecast? 
To be honest I never knew that the U.K. is a raining country 
I mean I forgot but I seem to see a lot of rain
Taught you love the rain, I do it brings the inner child out of me

Makes me want to run and scream and shout 
Laughing as I grabbed my raincoat I walked out of the house 
The town is like a ghost town 
The silent was so defending I could hear everything around me 
The restaurants all close and no one in sight
The sound was so loud it felt like the roar of a Lion
I could not help but say a little prayer for the business owners 
The staff who are been furlough
What a year? Lord I am very grateful

I know it is bad and Father it is all too much 
The people are losing their living wages 
Let this year end with a new found mindset for each of us
That allows us to see things differently 
That makes us curious and intentional about our life
As we go into tighter restrictions 

Harsh but necessary as the cases rise up
Christmas will now be spent alone 
Not fun but looking forward to it 
It is more than likely to be on zoom

By God’s grace
I think it better than nothing
You are with each and everyone one of us 
Filling that gap that we miss, 
no one is an island and only You can fill the space Jesus 

So I will end with a praise to You and thanks
For it is in You that I can never be thirsty 
It is in You that I have real life 
Where everyone is welcome
 
“Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
“Praise our God, all you his servants, 
you who fear him, both great and small!”
If the enemy is to be put to shame and hiding 
Then let us WORSHIP and PRAISE the KING of kings
