Walking into the unknown

There are six things the Lord hates,
seven that are detestable to Him:
haughty eyes,
lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil
a false witness who pours out lies
and a person who stirs up conflict in the community

Proverbs 6: 16-19
Burgess Park, Southwark, London

Nwe looked up, I don’t know yet but if you are on the lookout with your weapon close by. There are many different ways to get from one point to another in the magical realm and the simpler way is to think of the person and you will be there but that can be dangerous if they are now expecting you. The easiest is which I will do as I know the entrance to the cave. I will start from there and walk the rest of the way. `One more thing, there is a cost to this but I don’t know what the cost is, we will find out soon enough.

She frowned at me, you will have to believe in me as I continue. Wait after thirty minutes before doing anything.

I will take twenty minutes but incase of anything and then thirty minutes use the sword to place a little cut on one of my fingers and that will bring me back. Stepping into the realm before any objections, and looking at the entrance to the cave. This is madness, something doesn’t feel right.

Hmmmm, looking at the entrance and walking down the now familiar stairs, something’s not right but she could feel a pull back and a pull forward. The tug in heart was saying no, stopping at the entrance ignoring all sense of rights.

She walked into the cave and looking up, Athan was at the other end grinning. Looking at his eyes, the grin did not reach his eyes but he pulled me in with one hand. I was expecting you, and don’t worry I have taken measures to not let you return. You are mine and I need the sword back in exchange for your life back.

Do you want to know how?

Nwe shaking her head, no but humour me. Too busy looking around, she thought best to keep him busy talking and distracted.

He frowned, you will have to listen and believe me. Look at this place, see the fountain at the far end surrounded by the trees?

You remember, Amiya. How could I possibly forget it is what got us all in this mess in the first place?  Yes I do, what is this all about?

Well, she lies dead on the other side but that was her mistake and that caused her life. She was clever and left clues on how the sword can be used. I found it by the tree.

Nwe sniffed, like I care.

His eyebrows raised, but you should care. If I know your next move is to pull you back, very clever but as he turned with a smocked look on his face. I have waded these walls with no magic in or out.

Following his eyes as we both looked at the symbols on the wall. See this is all her doing, very clever using magic was what she was good at and what she did for a living. I give her credit for the amazing drawing, all I needed to do was activate the magic with my blood and hers.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I seem to like the short story in the moment 🙂

This is a journal of imaginative mind, fiction and also not much editing letting the words flow. Come back next week to see what happens. For as humans we need to be creative, use imagination and be the best version of ourself. Just like our Father wants us to be.

Who knows the mind of a human, only God!

I do love the Lord and I love that you took the time to read my blog. Bless you.

Have a wonderful day 🙂

All pictures are mine, with a touch of editing app adding
