Hi and welcome to my vault :), hope you had a good weekend. It is always a pleasure that you stopped by: I love to just sit and listen and watch and read and let the cool breeze on my face or the heat from the sun. Welcome, smile!

What a busy weekend for me! I love it because it was busy, planned and  fit in perfectly.

Once a month I have a bible study called God’s Big Story and so many nuggets out of it. This Saturday was no different and we looked at “The Kingdom of God” . The Bible is about God’s kingdom. 

We tell a story and all the story is about the story and NEVER about the story teller.

We look at the story 
We listen to the story 
We absorb and delight in the story 
I love the story of our God 
One BIG STORY, It is all ABOUT HIM
It is all ABOUT JESUS
Welcome!

Few treasures I took away:

Worshiping the King is what makes us human. In every kingdom we have a King and our King created the universe

He is Holy above all things 
For everything we do that is disobedience to the King breaks His heart
The Kindest thing that God does to us is walking with the King it is such a privilege 
And we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works

Identity – we are image bearers

Think about it.

Rest and fruitfulness

I learned that fruitfulness flows from rest in God

So many takeaways and I loved the idea of a manifesto of the kingdom: 

Having the presence of God
Healing 
Comfort 
Deliverance or salvation 
Righteousness and Justice
Peace 
Joy 

As I listen and mediate on Isaiah and Luke;

Jesus shows and tells about the kingdom. 
He shows the kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven 
The upside down kingdom
Yes I am still processing all the treasures 
I never ever want to be away from the Kingdom
It is good to walk with the King
And a priviledge

And to sum it all up:
We are in a battleship and what do you do? 
You fight, So I encourage you to remember always 
For I, the Lord Your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you Fear Not, I will help you.’
Isaiah 41:13

Fight for ever thing 
We are just clearing, remember that the battle is already won
The casualties are a lot and we need more workers 
Pray always and never lose focus

I ended the evening in the theatre watching “The Mirror and The Light” with some of my girl friends.  It was good.

So look at this, my eyes are glued to financial well being. It is so important to have good financial well being.

 It was one of the treasures that we all need to have a good understanding of and I am no expert but working in a financial institute has opened my eyes to what it means to have and what it means to not have and the impact it has on lives. 

What is financial well being? So many answers, but I can name a few:

Feeling secure and in control of your day to day finances.

Have enough money to pay bills and a plan to deal with unexpected bills 

Having a plan for the future with confident

Why is it important?

Financial well being is one part of of our overall well being

If one suffers the other feel it too

Mental, Physical….

Poor financial well-being has a knock effect on our mental health, physical health and our relationships

When you have a good financial well-being that means: happiness, confident, productive in our daily life

Where do you start?

Finance is an area where we never want to talk about it. Why? Good question but I have no idea.

So – the big step is to talk to someone

A trusted friend or family member is good for you
May help you manage the stress
It is good for your mental health and relationship
Talking puts its in the light and gives clarification on how to get help to plan for financial future effectively

Having a plan can lift the weight off your shoulders

Research have shown how financial well being can have a positive effect on both physical and mental health..

Always seek help!
