Hi and welcome to my vault :), hope you had a good weekend. It is always a pleasure that you stopped by: I love to just sit and listen and watch and read and let the cool breeze on my face or the heat from the sun. Welcome, smile!

This weekend was cold and windy and sunny and fun. Yeh, life!

Life is a journey 
And to the journey there is a season
A time for every purpose under the Heavens

A Time to see the autumn of life
The creation in a beauty of diversity 
The leaves falls and creates a pattern of colours 
Bringing beauty to the eyes of the beholder

What a weekend it was 
In the early hours of Saturday morning, I hear the sound of the wind 
As I lay my head down and listen to the great voice as it proclaims the glory of our Lord 
The trees clap and moves to the dance of the music 
The birds sing to the glory of the Lord 

I said in my heart 
What a glorious sound 
Tucked in the bed enjoying the strength of the wind
I delight in knowing that our God is stronger than the wind
He created the wind to move 
It blows where it wishes 
And all I hear is the sound
One cannot tell where it coming from 
One cannot tell where it is going
So is everyone who is born of the spirit

Sunday was great. We had some baptisms in the church two of them were our lovely youths and it is just pure joy when anyone declares to wash away the old skin and accept the new skin.

It made me think of when I got baptised. I was so scared the week leading to the day. I kept leaning in and praying and moving closer to God.

All that kept coming to me that whole week – was I was going to die!

You will never be the same again. All these negative voices to deter me from taking this step. Now I look back it was a lie and the truth was hidden in it.. Paradox

And I remember all the encouraging words to me and the prayers leading to the day. Thank God for the church family.

Baptism the act of dying to self or surrendering by being immersed in water and then resurrection with Christ. It empowers us and it is a new life!

It was a real battle and in the end 
I was so nervous but felt the love of the Lord wash over me
My old self did indeed die 
All thoughts that week was not to do it
I look back and smile for it was just the beginning
I chose to surrender and walk into the unknown
Trusting in the Lord with the future 
Letting the Light lead the way 

I went into the water afraid but knowing that 
Jesus was with me all the way and this was a new journey with Him. 
Yes I reflect and thank the Lord my God for choosing me 
Everyday is a new day of battle and 
Yes, as we are in the battleship
We fight everyday with full armour 

Leaning on the Lord and not on own understanding.
May Lord guide and protect us
May we always lean in to HIm

The journeys of life, the road can be scary and dark. Yet one must take a step into the darkness

November has come to an end and a new season to truly reflect and celebrate the Word that became flesh and dwells in our hearts. December is a time to celebrate and to proclaim the glorious God of all gods.

Today as I stood in the vault, 
I truly wanted to say thank you. 
I look back over the last months. 
It has been my pleasure to open the vault 
and it means a lot to me
that you are here

God loves you, reflect on His goodness in the month of December and write them down.
