So Jesus said to them again,
"Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me,
I also send you."
And when He has said this,
He breathed on them, and said to them,
"Receive the Holy Spirit.
"If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them.
If you retain the sons of any, they are retained."John 20:21-23 NKJV
Finally finished the gospel of John
and as I reflect on what I have read so far
One cannot help but be reminded of Psalm 23
Yes the Lord indeed is our Shepherd
The disciples were lead by the still waters
In the presence of the Pharisees and the religious leaders
So His Name will be glorified
Even when they betrayed Him
Even when they denied Him
He was with them
He prayed for them before the event took place
Showing that His staff will always comfort them
His staff will always lead in the right path
And when he rose again
He restored them
He anointed them with the Holy Spirit
He breathe on them
He gave them peace
And all the days of their lives
Into our lives
We all dwell in the House of the Lord
Forever because He is our Shepherd
