68:
' As the priests were leaving the Temple,
it was suddenly filled with a cloud shining with the dazzling light of the Lord 's presence,
and they could not go back in to perform their duties.
Then Solomon prayed:
“You, Lord , have placed the sun in the sky,
yet you have chosen to live in clouds and darkness.
Now I have built a majestic temple for you, a place for you to live in forever.” '1 Kings 8:10-13 GNT
Oh Lord my God
The Mighty One, God the LORD
Maker of Heaven and Earth
And the Father of all creation
Out of the cross to the resurrection
of our Lord Jesus Christ
We see the perfection of beauty
The separation of light from darkness
Lord God, You have placed the sun in the sky
Yet, You have chosen to live among us
And now the Word that was faraway
And out of reach, cutoff from our view
That the flaming sword was a danger to our soul
Now dwells in us and we gaze at Your glory
The glory of the Father, full grace and truth
The light that can never be hidden
The true light that is given to every
man coming into the world
The God that answers when we call upon Him
Let us give thanks to the Lord always
Call upon Him in time of trouble
And He will deliver you and you
shall glorify the LORD
All His saints
And to the wicked that have forsaken the Lord
The world is the Lord’s and all its fullness
Do not think that silence from our
Lord means consent
The Lord is Holy and He Himself is the Judge
Let us offer praises that glorifies the King of kings
Let us come with thanksgiving to the Lord
For He is our salvation and shield
And our exceedingly great reward
