'Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom.
Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgement.
Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life.
If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit.
If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer. '

Proverbs 9:10-12

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord

Hope you had a good weekend. Saturday was my niece’s fifth year birthday. And we went ice skating, well I was watching from the sides. Kids have no fear in them. It was a joy to watch them fall and get up and carry on. I was more worried about breaking any bones and needed a professional next to me instead. It was a wonderful Saturday to watch her and friend play along. Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Come along, before we head into the books of nutrition. I was challenged about the lies we believe in our lives. On Sunday we were looking at Luke and it was about demons and an unforeseen world that exists.

“Listen to the truth Jesus speaks”

I tell you the truth if you say to this mountain to move it will move

The mountains in our lives have already been defeated; they are not permanent.

Looking and listening at Mark 11:20-24: I saw a different version

Jesus offers a choice –

The Lord our God and Saviour is our Shepherd
Why call Him Lord, Lord and yet not obey Him?
For He has laid the table in front of us
Wisdom always calls us to the table

Let the faith of our Lord and Saviour dwell richly in you
For it is impossible to please our God if we don’t have any faith
If we don’t believe that He exists then there is no love
Without love then the earth is meaningless
And words are reduced to hollow sounds
Of nothing more than a clanging cymbal

So my eyes will look upon the Lord
Maker of Heaven and Earth
He restores my soul
It is only in the Lord my God
That I walk in righteousness
For His Name sake

For His thoughts towards us are good
The Lord our God has bless us with every spiritual blessing
In Heavenly places in Christ Jesus
The Spirit of the Lord is upon us
To bring good news to the poor
To heal the brokenhearted
To give us freedom
To move the mountains in our lives and loved ones

The Lord loves us His chosen people
To walk in holiness and without blame before Him
In love

Yes the Lord is good to all
Instead of shame, you shall have double honour
And no confusion in the House of the Lord
Everlasting Joy is in The House of the Lord

I will rejoice on my Saviour
My soul shall be joyful in my God

The vault calls, come let’s get in and see what we have. Last Sunday’s Marathon inspired me to look at my study books on nutrition for fitness.

Whether you are a competitive runner or you simply enjoy running for fitness, eating a healthy diet will help you run faster and longer.

Carbohydrate should be the main driver for a runner’s diet, because they are the fuel for workouts and promote muscle recovery

Take a note – some carbohydrate deliver great nutritional value than others

Think Potatoes not potato chips… make the most of the carbohydrate with whole grains, fruits and vegetables

During an endurance run, keep in mind two main causes of fatigue and try to combat them before the race. Depletion of carbohydrate stores and hydration can end the race.

Filling the glycogen before the race will delay fatigue.  As a bonus, the run will be easier to complete if you have enough glycogen on board.

Ensure that each day your daily diet contains 5-7g Carbohydrate/kg of body weight will speed the recovery from daily runs.

Secondly, before each run, being hydrated is very important if you want to put in a good performance.

Make a point to drink 5-7ml of fluid/kg of body weight approximately four hours before exercise. This gives a chance for the body to excrete what you don’t need before you begin the exercise.

During training, keep an eye on the water intake if running longer than sixty minutes. There are no rules on how much water intake needed as that depends on how much fluid you lose through sweat. “Practise a drinking strategy in training” train yourself on what will be used on the day for a bigger run like half marathon or full marathon.

Be extra diligent in hot and humid weather.

Try to vary the choices of fresh fruit and vegetables as much as possible according to what is in season as this will give you a greater range of micronutrients, antioxidants and phytonutrients.  – this is true whether for training or not.

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord
I praise God for your life
May He teach you
His way as you walk in His foot path
In the Name of Jesus
Amen

Remember,
We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.
Be bless and know that the Lord loves you
Lots of Love - Hannah

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV
