Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me (Jesus) Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:1, 6

Thank God it is FRIDAY! I Love Fridays.
I would say showers of blessings this week. We thank God. Hope and pray your week was good.
Today my mind starts to wonder Not just today, but anytime I sit with nothing to do it wonders away Have I not seen the miracles of Christ Jesus Am I not free Yet the doubt creeps in And as I ponder in my heart Jesus is still the same The Lord Jesus our Saviour and King He is the healer and redeemer And so I opened my Bible and the pages is on John 14:1 Do NOT let your heart be troubled Believe in me as You believe in God Where can I go if not to You, my God Who else can I trust my God and Saviour Jesus Christ You are the only one that have the living water and bread of life You have saved my soul from the pit of hell You have given me the hope of a new life You have given me joy that strengthens my bones You have quiet my soul to focus on the Lord Yahweh Lord, You sent the Holy Spirit to help me Where can I sit other than Your presence For You have the keys and have set me free Where can I go
So I continue the journey with Paul, it really does open my eyes to the things around me. The differences we have that can be solved by knowing each others love language.
Actions are welcomed as much as words
I tell you something Whatever God does, It shall be forever, nothing can be added to it, and nothing can be taken from it.
I love the Gospel of Christ. The treasures that can be found with the help of the Holy Spirit. And come let us continue!
But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God 1 Corinthian 11:3
It is interesting that Paul defines and shapes the headship in the church.
To Corinthians, there needed to be a structure and discipline.
For there was madness and folly happening – let start at the beginning
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God He was in the beginning with God And all things were made through Him And without Him nothing was made In Him we have life, and the life was the light of men Paul takes us back to the beginning Jesus is the head of every man Man is the head of woman God (The Father) is the Head of Christ With the Head, the light shines bright in the darkness And the darkness cannot comprehend it
We have options as women in the Church to follow the rebellious nature of man as they follow Christ or be humble and loving submission as Christ to God.
It is a choice.
God is not a God of chaos In His kingdom there is authority And man and woman have different ways to submit to the authority of God God looks for voluntary submission Jesus voluntary submitted to God the Father Even though He is equally God 'Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. ' John 5:19 NIV
Yes, I continue to listen to 1 Corinthians 11 – the context of this chapter and the head covering; Paul points us to the order of authority in the Church. He directs the Corinthians to understanding:
The order of authority, in this context of verse five in 1 Corinthians 11: a man dishonours His Head (Christ) with covering of head and the same is with the woman with no covering.
We are set apart to bring good news to the poor We are the light of the world No one hides a lamp under a bed That means our behaviours are to be an example of one under the authority of God We don’t need to cover our head But we do get to be humble and also respectful to the heads in our churches To the Corinthians it was a public declaration that I am under the authority of another, when the women covered their head and the men didn't. Going against the grain and standing out and showing that God is God The kingdom of God has authority over my life Authority has to be in the body of Christ. For Christ is the Head of the Church and that means we are all under the authority of God
