Jesus was once asked by the Jewish religious leaders, “When will God’s kingdom come?” Jesus responded, “God’s kingdom does not come simply by obeying principles or waiting for signs. The kingdom is not discovered in one place or another, for God’s kingdom realm is already expanding within some of you.” ' Luke 17:20-21 TPT

Happy Friday! Welcome to the month of March…
Hope your week was good, this week in London the temperature dropped and we saw a bit of snow one day, rain another day and sunshine another day. What a glorious week.
As I reflected and meditated on the book of Psalm, a few words stood out.
“My righteous God” My God that will never deviate from what is right My God will never move from His righteous principles and promises My God is a God of justice “Lie down and sleep in peace” In Acts 12:6 - Peter demonstrated what he saw Jesus doing in Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41 My soul, let us give thanks Work does gets hard and can lead to the path of unrighteous My soul, it is in peace we switch off daily For we work not to earn favours My soul, we work for the Lord Yahweh our God and Saviour For He makes us lie down in peace It is in Him we find safety and security Our Protection is only found in the Lord our God. What an amazing God we serve!
Also learned something at work… Resilience “the ability to receive a successful outcome in the face of adversity”. Something the Dr said that stood out. Having a support network is good for you. Basically part of the structure of resilience is who you have around you. Don’t walk it alone. Take care of yourself, have positive relationships, have a purpose in life. Before you start with eating healthy and exercise. Build the foundation first and that will help you maintain a healthy lifestyle. Figure that out….
It is short and sweet today, as I continue on Paul letter: This week I started 1 Corinthians 16:
Paul reveals eternal purposes for us as Christ followers. I am encouraged by Paul’s letter. I know the heart of Paul as He reveals what is in God’s heart for Corithians and all that will read the letter and be encouraged. We could learn from the letter.
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. ‘.. (verses 13-14) Jesus commanded us to stand and watch Like soldier that is always alert Watch (Matthew 24:42, 26:41, Mark 13:37). Peter in 1 Peter 5:8 says that we are to be sober, and be vigilant. As I listen to the words of Paul… What do guards do? A guard is a person who keeps watch, especially a soldier to protect or to control access to a place. In beginning was the Word And the word was with God And man was created to be fruitful and multiply To take care of the earth as servants of the LORD And then sin came…
We are to guard our hearts above all else. Why? Because all things flow from it.
Luke 17: shows that the Kingdom of God is not by observation but the Kingdom of God is within us, so we are to guard the precious treasure.
We are not to take offence but if someone sins against you, rebuke them, and if he repents forgive them, each time they come, forgive them. We are to not take offence for life is short to carry that burden, or that yoke or bonds around our necks.
We are not to think high and mighty of ourselves and think that our works should be rewarded.
A reward is a gift and not for the work we do. We have not earned our salvation. Salvation is a free gift.
My soul let us gorify the Lord our God and give thanks for giving us another chance whenever we miss the mark.
For days are coming when you will desire to see the Son of Man, and you will not see it. Just as Noah, people eat and drink. Lot, people eat and drink. So will our generation.
We never stop sharing the good news, blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of God.
We are in the times where peacemakers are needed. Love above all is needed. We are to be courageous, brave and walk with the LORD
