Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 NKJV

Grace, mercy and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in the truth and Love.
God is good and His mercy endures forever Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty The whole earth is full of His glory Our God is good
This weekend, I reflect and think of listening. Be a good listener.
The act of listening! It is a gift To stop and make an effort to hear something To be quiet and not have a word in Is a gift And it is an action
Are you listening!
There is time for everything A time to be born A time to die A time to tear A time to sew A time to listen A time to talk I know that whatever God does It shall be forever Nothing can be added to it And nothing can be taken away from it God does it and we must stand in awe and worship the King It is time to listen to the Lord our God The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom Yes, so I say in my heart The walk with Lord is not an easy path One must persevere in all things And trust in the Lord our God. There is a time to walk A time to sit A time to rest A time to be still As sun shines on all So does the light goes out on all One day we will give an account of life itself So do not let your mouth cause you to sin Watch what you say before the Lord For an error can be costly
Hope you had a good weekend.
Come follow me to the treasure vault. No time to stop. You have heard there is a time forever thing. And the Lord has made everything beautiful in its time.
My Saturday was good and we thank God. As I got up to do my morning run, it was one of those days. It was windy and cold. Had my gloves on and scarf. Also I was not in the mood of running but I stepped outside to let the cool breeze on my face.
Why do I run??
Good question, I ask myself that question all the time… do I love it… I don’t know… the debate is still on… but I do love the after feeling…
Let’s get this in the open, feelings come and go and one must not go with feelings but listen to the body. If you run there are days when you do not feel like running but at the end if you decide to run then you are glad you did it.
So I run and listen to the wind, the birds, the dogs, the steps, the cars, people, and even the river makes a sound.
Are you listening?
This was my taught, as I walked into the room to listen to “God’s Big Story” – Catalyst Theology Foundations Training, by Jonathan Bell on Hebrews. This Saturday. His first question was “Are you listening”
Think carefully, before saying a word – at words of the prophet Samuel.. ‘Speak God I am listening’
Do not be hearer of the word but also doers.
Some of the key takeaways as I listen:
The Book of Hebrew writer:
- Wants to urge the readers in his days to keep going, to persevere, to remain faithful to the very end. And the same to us today as we journey through life.
- We are here in this world to rule, reign and have dominion over all things. This is broken and distorted but Jesus came to redefine what it means to rule, to reign, to have dominion, to exercise power and authority. He shows us that it means being quick to forgive, to show grace, to love your enemies, to seek their well-being above your own. This is what it means to be truly human! – Figure that out!
- Unplug from your everyday activity once a week – now this is a challenge. When we rest – God is our priority and true source of rest. Christ is our righteousness, hope, identity, and security.
- Christ is our King and Priest according to Melchizedek
Christ: He has no beginning and no end He is superior to all priests from the tribe of Levi He lives forever to make intercession for us He is glorious because He is both King and Priest Are you listening… It was a good way to spend the Saturday We must remember - God gives us the gifts and strength to keep going and never give up.
