Learning to Live LIFE in Christ Jesus

'The Lord says:
“These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.
Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder;
the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.” '

Isaiah 29:13-14

The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever

As I look at Paul sitting writing his letter to the Corinth in response to what he read.  I am reminded and inspired by 1 Corinthians 2 to

Pause and wonder!

Here I was trying to get some routine going. A week of no routine makes the body relax.

As I pause, God reveals that it not about routines it is always about relationship

Yes I pause and wonder at our God
The Father is always faithful
The Father loves it when we pause
The Father loves it when we acknowledge with thanksgiving and praise to Him

So I wonder

Am I flexible around Him or do I move further away because He does not fit into my box

He never leaves and He is always there
Yes I pause and wonder at the beauty around me
Looking at the sky
Relationship is a tough cookie to crack and to maintain
But it is worth it as we see the glory of God
Magnify in our lives

To use the language of Scripture

Pause and wonder!

Yes I pause and wonder

Wonder at the amazing God we serve
Wonder as the light shines in the darkness

Yes I pause and wonder

Pause and see the darkness becoming light
Pause and see the storm become still at the sound of His voice
Pause and bask in His glory
Pause and let your heart be moved towards Him

Wonder at how He cleans the temple
Pause and see what He is doing in the temple
For when He comes to the temple
It never remains the same
The money, or the worry and the treasures of the world
He overturns all the tables

Pause and wonder and see that He is bigger than everything
Pause and be still in His Presence as you wonder at how awesome our God is

Yes Pause and wonder
For eyes have not seen nor has the mind comprehend the greatness of our God
Yes pause for God has revealed every mystery to us through His Spirit
Jesus Christ, The Gospel reveals this glorious thing that is on Earth as it is in Heaven
Yes Pause and wonder

Learning to Live LIFE in Christ Jesus

'The Lord God is the one who brings together all the Israelite people who are in exile .
He says, ‘I will continue to bring more people to join with them.’ '

Isaiah 56:8

I am away this first week of August and as I sit on the last day of the month of July writing. I wanted to thank you for all the encouragement and the blessing you are to me when you visit, like and comment. Thank you.

Blessings to you!

The journey with Paul continues… In 1 Corinthians:

Glory only to the Lord Jesus Christ: as I read verses twenty-six to thirty one

You see your calling…

Think about those words to the corinth
Paul calls the Corinthians to look in the mirror
God has not chosen them because of their wisdom
Nor did He choose because of the flesh

Oh the FLESH - you are mighty nor the noble
The upside down kingdom

Not one is chosen because of the flesh…
The flesh is weak and feeble
It does decay with time
It also sleeps when you don't need it to

And so Paul continues

God has chosen the foolish things of the world…

Paul reminds them and brings them back to earth
Sometimes the flesh forgets and think it is strong
It can do all things by itself
But NO, the word of God is alive
It reminds us of the ways of the Lord
It encourages us
It convicts us
Sometimes we forget that it not by works
That God is the one that chooses us
I do love the way Paul brings the staff down so to speak:
The Shepherd is the Shepherd and you are the sheep
He choose you not because you are great
He choose you not because of your nobility
He chooses because He is great

The foolish things in the world is a treasure to God
He is the Creator of the world
He does not replicate from an object
He creates the object itself into a jewellery
Things that are lost and rubbish in the world

It is good that God doesn’t choose us because we are in the shelf, ready and on display for the world

No, that is not our GOD but our
God chooses the ones with cobwebs
The ones hidden and out of place
The ones that have no use to human race anymore
Those are the ones He chooses
Because GOD is Great!
And He puts to shame the wise

The upside down Kingdom
The mind cannot fathom it
He calls the weak and ignorant FIRST
It is also not an exclusive club
Don’t be wise
For He also calls the Shepard FIRST
Then the wise men

Fishermen FIRST (the disciples) then the educated like Paul
This is the wisdom of God and it is not exclusive
Nor is it set on stones

His ways are not our ways
Neither is His thoughts our thoughts
Do not be wise in your own eyes
For God is great

“Treasure Trove of Information”

'Remember to stay alert and hold firmly to all that you believe.
Be mighty and full of courage.
Let love and kindness be the motivation behind all that you do. '

1 Corinthians 16:13-14
Morning sunrise – view from my kitchen
Don’t forget
The Saviour and God our Father
Has given us life

Never forget that our strength is not man made
That fades like a vapour
But remember that the God of our Saviour Jesus Christ
Is the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever

Remember that the enemy is only here to KILL, STEAL and DESTROY
Always be alert
For as long as you are in the presence of the Lord
He is the only One that prepares a table
A feast as the enemies watches
His Joy overflows

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Happy First Month!

Hi and welcome to the vault. Hope you had a good weekend. My weekend was in anticipation of the week. And as I pack my suitcase and think about what one needs for camping, minimal Miss Vandi is what you need. My mind goes back to the youth as they are very much excited. The resilience has been built up for the future.

And all I kept thinking of the kids and how they would be feeling. Excited, emotional and what to wear or how to behave. Praying that they have the peace that surpasses all understanding. Above all that God breaks through to them.

This week, I embark on a journey not alone but with my church family to be a child of God and serve the youth. We are going on a journey together, that is exciting.

I will be on a break this week and just be present at that moment.

Below is a link, if you want to know more about New DAY in the UK.

Just one thing as you go about your day to day, prayers warriors, children of God: Pray that the kids will have an amazing time and God will break through to each of them. They will be the light everywhere they go. Pray as the spirit leads you. Thank you and God bless you.

Thank you for stopping by,  Sorry If I don’t reply as we told the kids no phone, guess what, we must abide by the rules too. God help us!

As I sit and write, Isaiah inspired me to praise the Lord, be blessed this week and the remaining month and years to come.

Praise the Father
Praise the Son
Praise the Spirit
Praise the Three in ONE
That joins the body as one

Praise the Lord
Our God that would rend the Heavens
To come down!

Praise the Lord our God
That the mountains will shake at His presence
That the nations may tremble at His presence

Praise the Lord
That God always does awesome things
Which we did not expect
'For from days of old no one has heard,
nor has ear perceived,
Nor has the eye seen a God besides You,
Who works and acts in behalf of the one who [gladly] waits for Him.
You meet him who rejoices in doing that which is morally right,
Who remembers You in Your ways.
Indeed, You were angry, for we sinned;
We have long continued in our sins [prolonging Your anger].
And shall we be saved [under such circumstances]? '

Isaiah 64:4-5 AMP
Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord
I praise God for your life
May He teach you
His way as you walk in His foot path
In the Name of Jesus

We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.
Be bless and know that the Lord loves you
Lots of Love - Hannah

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV

Learning to Live LIFE in Christ Jesus

'I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live,
but Christ lives in me.
The life I now live in the body,
I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself for me.
I do not set aside the grace of God,
for if righteousness could be gained through the law,
Christ died for nothing!”'

Galatians 2:20-21 NIV

Hello, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ.

I thank God for you today
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ
The Father of glory gives you the spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him

Bless you
May the Lord Keep you and
May His Face shine upon you

What is man?
Lord God that You should be mindful of.

The process of life
Is learning daily to walk and allow grace to be part of it
It is not about works

The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever

As I look at Paul sitting writing his letter to the Corinth in response to what he read. I am reminded that we are not alone in the walk of life. It so happens that at random nothing is random, as I was walking, the podcast of NT Wright was about the Cross which made me sit and look at what Paul was talking about.

1 Corinthians 1:18: For the message of the cross…

The message of the Cross
Words, oh words of men
Wisdom of men
Words only words does not have the effect of the cross
Let not our wisdom be the factor of our deliverance
Let not filter or water down the message to go through
For the words are not ours
The effect does not belong to us
For the Lord our Father chooses
And always remember that
The foolish man will think what he wants to think

Wisdom will always excel folly
As light excels darkness
The wise man’s eyes is in his head
But the fool walks in darkness
Ecclesiastes 2:13

The gospel is the message of the Cross
Preaching anything else is not the gospel
The gospel is NOT about preaching the
High moral standard… or
universal fatherhood of God… or
brotherhood of man

The message – was at the time a cruel way to die like an electric chair but much worse than that! Can you imagine that?

Oh let sit and look at the cross, come and see the Lord

For it was a cruel, humiliating, unrelenting instrument of death – hence why Paul added

…. is foolishness to those who are perishing

For they cannot see beyond the Now
For darkness has covered there sight
So they mocked Him
And will continue to mock His followers…
But do take heart
For God did save Him
And He did overcame it

To us who are being saved it is the power of God

The power that gives us strength
The power that lets us see beyond the now
The power that humbles our thinking into knowing that
He is the Lord and King

They both describe work in progress and each person moves towards one or the other. Saved or foolishness

How can one look at the cross without the grace of God…
For without the power of God it is foolishness
At the cross friendship is formed
Because of the Cross
Sin and death are both conquered
For He is RISEN!

As I walk with Paul this week, I begin to understand life, well not as a whole but a little of it.

Paul shows that life is not alone

The power of the body of Christ on the Cross
The Cross before he carried it
Before we even know what is going to happen
Jesus took the place of Barabbas and all of us
Jesus took the place of our sins
What evil has He done?....
Expect to LOVE us

He was mocked and they took the purple off Him
So we would become children of God
So we would be sons and daughters
Having the rights to call God our Father

The King on the Cross
Shows us to cry for the generations
For the days to come when they will need to know God
Through Him we are one
We become family through the Lord

At the Cross,
It is finished!

Paul shows us what Isaiah wanted us to know:  Isaiah 29: 14 what God says about the wisdom of men

  • About spiritual matter God opposes the wisdom of men
  • He will destroy the wisdom of men and not bow down to them.

The one clear point is that no one can do what Jesus has just done

Worthy is the Lamb
The Lamb that is worthy to take the scroll
The Lamb that is worthy to direct our footsteps
The Lamb that is worthy to lead the way of life

And to open the seals of the scroll

For He was slain to redeem us to God by His blood
Through Him we are all made kings and priests to our God
Through Him we are now sons and daughters
Through Him we shall reign on the earth

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

To receive power and riches and wisdom
And strength and honour and glory and blessing!
Worthy is the Lamb who sits on the throne
Forever and ever!
