Learning to Live LIFE in Christ Jesus

'You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord for ever, for the Lord , the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal. He humbles those who dwell on high, he lays the lofty city low; he levels it to the ground and casts it down to the dust. '

Isaiah 26:3-5 NIVUK
St James’s Park
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Can wash me as white as snow
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Can open the prison to those who are bound

Yes the blood of Jesus
Has healed my broken heart
He is worthy of all my praise
He is my Master and Friend

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and Saviour Jesus Christ. Happy Friday and it is the last day of March, time flies and it waits for no man.

I thank God for the Month of March
I thank God for the last three months
I thank God that makes a way that no man
Has seen or fathom.

Let us praise the Name of the Lord our God
Is it wonderful to know that all things that are
good are from the LORD

It is in Christ Jesus that we are made new
What a wonderful God we serve
That in midst of suffering
He comforts us

As I continue with Paul on 2 Corinthians chapter One, I wonder and marvel at our God.

Verse six: … if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

God bought consolation and salvation through Paul’s suffering to others .

How could God bring consolation and salvation through suffering?

My soul let us take a walk…
We walk with God, so we can see His Marvellous work
His ways are not are ways

Remember,
The world we live in, has webs everywhere
Covered with suffering and broken
It is in need for repair

Who better than to console others suffering than someone who has been through it and come out the other end….

Suffering is the proper tool to help in the world of despair
The fracture can be mended by God
Through the love of His people to others

When we suffer…
We must never isolate ourselves
Let the peace of God wash over us through His words
And His people and pray at all times
In our daily lives, tribulations will come
But be of good cheer and take heart
For our Lord Jesus has overcome the world

Then I started to look at the whole suffering..

The ancient Greek word for suffering (thlipsis). Thlipsis describes that kind of “pressing.”

Pressing you to a corner:

The Lord is my Rock
The Lord is the one that I rely on
The Lord is the Rock that I lean on
When I am pressed into the corner
Then I know my God is for me and not against me

Who shall I fear
Who shall I run to
Except our God and Saviour
Jesus Christ who knew no sin
Yet began sin for us and moved us through the suffering
He made a way where there is no way

The journey continues…

We must Endure: the ancient Greek word of hupomone

Looking at the meaning of Endure:

It not passive and it is not in vain
It is an elastic pulled yet not broken
It is durable and last over time
It remains in existence
It is a spirit of a marathon runner
It triumphs over pain and suffering to achieve a goal

So, my dear let us endure for Christ did.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
The Father of mercies and God of all comfort
Who comforts us in all tribulation,
That we may be able to comfort those who are in trouble,
With the comfort with which we are ourselves are comforted by God

Lord, I surrender to Your will
Teach me and I will teach others
In the Name of Jesus Christ
Amen

99:

'Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.'

Romans 5:1-5 NKJV
The Queen Victoria Memorial
Behold, I look at the Sky
I lay my hands over my mouth
I know that You, LORD my God
Can do everything and nothing is too big

By faith I am justified through Christ Jesus
By faith I have permanent access to Your loving kindness
Even when the storms comes crashing
My hope is on our eternal Heavenly Father

Who is our shield and exceedingly great reward
I will rejoice in hope of the glory of God
That has produce perseverance in me
And that perseverance refines my character

My soul let us come to the Lord
For this character building leads us to hope
And hope is not a disappointing fantasy
It is the endless love of God cascading into our hearts

Through the Holy Spirit that lives in us
And restores the joy of His salvation
Let us lay down our crown
And let His Spirit leads us
Thank you for stopping by

“Treasure Trove of Information”

'This Jesus is ‘the stone that you, the builders, have rejected, and now he has become the cornerstone!’ There is no one else who has the power to save us, for there is only one name to whom God has given authority by which we must experience salvation: the name of Jesus .”'

Acts 4:11-12 TPT

Welcome and hope you had a good weekend. On the weekend, I thank God for another year added to me.

Got cards from friends and family. As I read through the cards, “Good Friends are like buttons – they hold everything together” Life is a blessing from God. Not alone but with friends and family.

Alone is wonderful but together with others is amazing and magical.

Let the magic from God ignites your heart this week

And venture into something different

Dream dreams and smile

For the Lord is good and His mercy endures for ever

Saturday morning I went for my run and unintentionally did more than I intended. Yes, one of my friends I spoke to said very wise words after, you could have got the bus or train back. Now, now…. What is the fun in that? Sometimes in life we need to push and go outside our boundaries.

It is fun to see how far the human body, mind can take us. No one can achieve good things in their comfort zone.

One thing I am learning on these runs is pushing my body sensibly and also knowing when to walk and enjoy the surroundings as I recover and then go again so I don’t get comfortable at walking.

Always try and do something once a week outside the box. The brain loves challenges and keeps it active.

Drink plenty of water as it is good for you and your brain.

Sunday, Pastor Chris taught in Book of John 3:1-15 – Nicodemus and Jesus – my takeaway: Embrace the spirit of asking questions (simple questions – if you taught about it, then so did others. Imagine that and know that no question is stupid to ask. When Nicodemus asked “How can someone be born when they are old”, surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born again! we got answers! Jesus answered him – see verse five to eight).

And look to the Cross with your heart and let your mind focus on Jesus.

Be curious and listen to understand.

For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son
So that we can life and live it full on earth as it is in Heaven
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
And His mercy endures forever.

Even when I am in distress
The Lord answered me and has set me free
The Lord my God is on my side
I will not fear

What can the enemy do to me?
The Lord our God is among those who help me
He has proclaim liberty to the captives
And open the prison to those who are bound

Death is swallowed up in victory
Why should I fear?
O death, where is your sting!
O Hades where is your victory?

For the Lord my God will go before me
I will praise You
For You answered me
And made me whole

My soul let us thanks to the
Almighty God and King of our life
For He has anointed us
Let us praise His Holy Name

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord
I praise God for your life
May He teach you
His way as you walk in His foot path
In the Name of Jesus
Amen

Remember,
We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.
Be bless and know that the Lord loves you

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '

Learning to Live LIFE in Christ Jesus

'I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]'

John 16:33 AMP

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Happy Friday and hope your week went well. My glass was full this week so I am definitely looking forward to the weekend and glad it is Friday 😀

What a friend we have in Jesus
Learning not to lean on my own understanding is journey

God is so good With a glass full,
You Lord quiet my soul
You remind me to be still and
know that You are Lord
You teach, strengthen and make a way
So I can seep through to end and
not relying only on my strength
Thank You Father for another day
My soul God is good and all that
He does is good

After a weekend of thinking and praying, I continue on the journey with Paul. We enter the second half of the scroll.

Inspired by Paul’s letter to the Corinthians: 2 Corinthians 1:5-7,

I absolutely love the way He starts the letters. I will do good to learn from Paul. His identity is found in Christ Jesus. I, Paul an apostle of Christ Jesus. I was chosen and it is okay to imitate me but your focus should always be on Christ Jesus for we are all servants of the LORD.

Gratefully praised and adored to our God
The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
The Father of mercy and the God of all comfort
Honour and glory belong to Him
He deserves all the praise
From the bottom of my heart

As I continue the journey, nothing is a coincidence

My dear beloved,

Be strong in the Lord and in the Power of His might
Put on the whole armour of God
That you maybe able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil

Do not think the things of the world as strange
Or when the fiery trials come your way as strange
Or think why me? But think why not me?
Instead hold up the shield of faith
And rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ
And take the helmet of salvation and the
sword of the spirit which is the word of God

Know that you have a chance to partake of Christ
suffering and when His Name is glorified
you may also be glad with exceedingly joy
Yes take heart even when it is counter cultural
Walk not in the things of evil
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth,
having put on the breastplate of righteousness
And having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace
in preparation to face the enemy with a firm foot stability
and readiness produced by the good news.

Suffer not as murderer, a thief, an evil doer,
or as a busybody in other people’s matter,
walk in the Lord, praying at all times

Yet if you suffer as a Christ follower
Do not be ashamed but let God be glorified in this matter.

"Therefore, those who are ill-treated and suffer in accordance with the will of God must [continue to] do right and commit their souls [for safe-keeping] to the faithful Creator.”
