105:
'Yahweh claims the world as His.
Everything and everyone belong to Him!
He’s the one who pushed back oceans to let
the dry ground appear, planting firm
foundations for the earth.'
Psalms 24:1-2 TPT
London, South Bank
Who comes before the King? The coronation is over!
The king is crown and only the selected few could attend
All others can watch from a distance or a box that is distorted
If you are not invited. And I reflect on our King of the world
This is the day that Lord has made
I will rejoice in God my Saviour
I will sing praise to the Lord my God
I will meditate on the Lord our God
He is the King and invites everyone
Not the selected few, but everyone.
And who is He?
If you seek Him with your whole heart
You will find Him and never regret it
He is not a man to lie
Nor is He the Son of Man to change His mind
He founded the Heaven and Earth
Fling open the city gates!
Open all the barriers!
His Magnificent Majesty, the King is about to enter
Who is this marvellous monarch?
The powerful God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
The undefeated God, who conquered sin and death
The God of the universe
In Him we have life and the life is the light of men
And the light shines in the darkness
The darkness doesn’t understand it
The light tabernacles in our hearts
And we beheld His glory
Fling wide open the city gates!
Open all the barriers!
His majesty the King is about to enter!
And who is this marvellous monarch?
I tell you, come follow me
He is the God who commands all the forces of the universe
He has chosen us and made us a royal priesthood and a holy nation
The Lord has taken our filthy garments
And it is now replaced with rich robes
This is our God
The King of our hearts
Who transforms our lives for the better
The Lord is King
Let all that has breath
Praise the Lord our God and King
'Make allowance for each other’s faults,
and forgive anyone who offends you.
Remember, the Lord forgave you,
so you must forgive others.
Above all, clothe yourselves with love,
which binds us all together in perfect harmony.
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts.
For as members of one body you are called to live in peace.
And always be thankful.
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives.
Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives.
Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. '
Colossians 3:13-17 NLT

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Hope you had a good weekend. My weekend was eventful and welcome. On my Saturday morning run the route was blocked. It was a lovely surprise to come across the Armed Forces training. We waited until all them passed by and then we could cross by. So I got a first hand view of them all. Loved the Coronation service and enjoyed the sermon preached.
On Sunday we started the series on “Fruit of the Spirit”
My takeaways from the weekend both on Saturday coronation and Sunday service was:
We are called to serve not to be served.
Jesus Christ our Master and Friend – His crown was made on thorns and His throne was a cross. To give us life on earth as it is in Heaven.
Service is love in action.
Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control – helps us to become Christ-like.
The Holy Spirit equips us with different gifts to serve the church and no one has all the gifts of Spirit but can have more than one.
Looking up allows and gives room for others to take a seat with us at the table.
Bless the Lord, my soul
And all that is within me, bless His Holy Name!
Bless the Lord, my soul
And forget not all His benefits
Who has forgiven us all our sins
Who heals all our diseases
Who has clothe us with Compassion, kindness,
Humility and meekness
And satisfies our mouth with good things
Who has delivered us from the power of darkness
And transferred us to the kingdom of His dear Son
Who purchased our freedom
And forgive us our sins.
Bless the Lord my soul
And all that is within me, bless His Holy Name.
Hope your week goes well. As I sit and reflect on the things around me, the treasures of life…
Taking control of the things we can control always feels good.
One thing I am learning is to think about what I am thinking and that includes money. It is much easier to spend money on things we don’t need than things we do need, especially online shopping. Before adding things to the basket, genuinely it is good to ask oneself… if it is essential or genuinely going to make you happy.
You will be surprised when you stop to think before purchase. Overnight thinking is always better and it helps you to see how much money you can save when you stop to think first.
The secret to a success budget is to be mindful of where money goes first.
Understanding your income and outgoing helps you spend less than you earn.
Tips:
Make a note of when all the bills come out
Having a bills account helps – putting money to the side each month for yearly bills like MOT, tax, home insurance
Set up direct debits or standing order
As you start to get out of debit and build up on saving. It will be a good time to save up for emergency funds.
Emergency funds:
helps with unexpected bills,
and puts you in a good position to have spare money
and not needing to borrow when an emergency arises.
It can take some time to build up emergency funds, this is okay.
Create a timeline to work towards. Knowing how long it will take will give motivation in setting up an account and something to work towards.
Saving tips to help you build up emergency funds:
Set up an instant savings account that doesn’t have a penalty for withdrawing funds out when needed.
Set up a standing order to transfer funds on the day you are paid or transfer out on payday.
Add any extra funds you have left at the end of the month
Postpone any luxury funds for later until the emergency funds are in place.
Having extra cash on hand as a buffer, no matter how much money you earn, has been linked to an increased life satisfaction and feeling more financially secure.
'I have heard all about you, Lord . I am filled with awe by your amazing works. In this time of our deep need, help us again as you did in years gone by. And in your anger, remember your mercy. '
Habakkuk 3:2 NLT
Greenwich Park – enjoying the sky on a sunny day.
As we studied Romans One
Inspired by my home group….
Lord, remember Your mercy
I have heard of all about You, LORD Jesus
I am filled with awe and wonder
At Your amazing works
I look at the pages and it is no different
To my today, help us God
Help us again as You did in years gone
Help us and in Your anger remember Your mercy
We are Your people
And You are our God
We are sheep who have gone astray
Make a way where there is no way.
Hello ….. Happy Friday… The madness of the coronation is all around…
I love the fact….I get to have a bank holiday on Monday… So I rejoice in the Lord my God…. Great is our God…. The King of all kings…. We thank God for the king and God save the king!
As I continue with Paul on 2 Corinthians Chapter Three to four:
The Apostle Paul helps to narrow our focus on what matters…
According to verse seventeen of chapter three: ‘The Lord is the same as the Spirit. And when the Lord’s Spirit is with anyone, that person is free. ‘ ….(17 EASY)
Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is FREEDOM
What is freedom?
So many answers on google search…
The state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.
Does freedom mean I can do anything I want?
In the Book of Genesis God made man and gave him freedom yet we lost that freedom and hid in shame.
What is Paul not saying?
God has created humans and shares His endless flourishing life with us so we can be partners with Him.
Freedom ….. What is freedom?
It is having the greatest relationship with our God not through a veil because that was torn. It is through what Jesus Christ did and what the Holy spirit is doing…
Looking at Paul’s letter to Corthinans tells us so much more. We are free and not lost through Christ Jesus. Free to have a relationship with God in Christ Jesus. It is good news 😀
LOST! We are not Lost!
How can I live without You my God
Though the fig tree may not blossom
Nor does the vines produces fruit
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord my God
And abide in Him
For my soul was lost without Jesus
He is the true vine that revives the dead branches
I will Joy in the God of my salvation
The Lord my God is my strength
And in Him will I bear fruits
For without the Saviour, my soul
God has lost you and you are not His servant
The church has lost you and you are not working for the truth
You are lost in the world and have no lasting service to it
You have lost your self to right, to love, to joy, you are lost, lost and lost
Let us come to the Lord our God
For we are no longer called servants
But we called friends and chosen
Before the foundation of the world
To be holy and without blame before Him in Love
We are NOT lost !
104:
'Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. '
Ecclesiastes 4:12 NIVUK
Greenwich Park, London.
In the Lord my God,
I have taken refuge.
Let me never be put to shame.
Today, I will glorify Your Name,
Walking the streets of London is always a blessing
And with a friend is a double blessing
So many treasures,
yet none could draw the attention
of the passersby
For You have been my hope,
Sovereign Lord,
my confidence since my youth.
From my birth,
You have sustained me and given me a purpose
And no treasure compares to You
Walking into the market stalls then into the park
Sitting and looking around with other souls
Some souls looked very happy
Yet some looked lost
And none will satisfy the eyes
of the looker
I have become a wonder to many
But You, my God and Saviour are my strong refuge
Let my mouth be filled with Your praise
And with Your glory all day
The Son to shine daily in my life and become centre
And my mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
'Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. '
Isaiah 41:10 NLT
Having The Time of my Life – Dominion Theatre
Hope you had a good weekend. Happy MAY DAY 😲
My weekend was good, the first time I didn’t run on a Saturday. It was a decision made beforehand to show some love to myself. If you love something then you have to take care of it.
On Friday I went to see the musical show “Dirty Dancing” at Dominion Theatre. It was a very good experience, as we watched the dance moves, musicals and The Lift. Joining in on the dancing at the end.
Saturday went to “God’s Big Story” – studying through from Acts to Philemon by Owen Hilton. Who teaches on the letters of Paul and the journey of the church how it all started.
My takeaway was the start of the journey of Christians in Antioch and how they got the name Christians or Little Christ.
The first church:
They understood the truth and Power of God – when conflict arise they will seek God.
Cross cultural church started – Jews and Gentiles.
Obstacles presented itself but they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
Grace is experienced – it is grace that helps us with learning to live the life we are created to live.
It is good to share testimonies and be a blessing to others. As Paul and Barnabas returned from the trip in Acts of the Apostles 14:22-23. It teaches us key things to learn and practice in our journeys:
They strengthened the believers – we strengthened to strengthened others.
They encouraged them to continue in the faith, reminding them that we must suffer many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God.
Paul and Barnabas also appointed elders in every church.
With prayer and fasting, they turned the elders over to the care of the Lord, in whom they had put their trust.
On Sunday, a visitor pastor from Ukraine preached and blessed us. As he talked about Acts of the Apostles. Philip’s encounter with the Euthpians and how the gospel then went to Africa.
Sharing his and the church in Ukraine journey’s. How in the midst of conflict the gospel moves like a wildfire.
It is so good how God’s ways are higher than ours and the way He directs our path is so different to what we expect.
My takeaways on Sunday preaching was:
Obedience is fruitfulness.
No one person has all the gifts – it humbles us to ask for help when needed and puts the fear of the Lord in us.
Inspired by my weekend, I look up:
I have heard about You, Lord
I am filled with awe by Your amazing works
Great is thy faithfulness
Though the fig tree may not blossom
Nor the fruit be in the vines
Though the labour of work produces nothing
And the fields yield no fruits in the season
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord
My Joy is in the Lord
Who is my strength and my Salvation
Thank you for walking with me
On this journey of life
Let us give thanks to the LORD!
Call upon His Name
Make known His deeds among the people!
Sing to the Lord a new song
For the Lord is good and
His mercy endures forever
He is the Lord our God
And we are His people
Blessed be the Rock
