HAPPY FRIDAY – Let the light shine

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.
John 1:9 NIV

Wow it is Christmas Next week wow 
Just pure joy to the LORD for it is in Him 
And for HIM that we celebrate the coming of the Lord

God You are so so so GOOD
Words cannot express how we feel about YOU
For in the midst of everything YOU gave us LIFE
LIFE that comes with a LIGHT to brighten the day

The season that is winter and dark
But the LIGHT of Jesus brings so much JOY to people
In this winter season when all is dark 
Your light is shining so bright that we cannot help 
but be very generous to one another

The Light makes us sing for JOY
The Light make us give to others not expecting anything
The Light makes us see the needs around us
The Light cannot be hidden because it is impossible to hide JOY

So O LORD I will Praise You 
Though You were angry with me 
Your anger is turned away and You comfort me
Behold, God is my Salvation

I keep thinking to myself
It might seem I am getting attached to this walking
Well yes it day 17 and we go out daily of course you are
You keep posting every time
Oh we have people around

Hello everyone it is new day
As I got up out of my bed thinking about yesterday
It is a privilege and honour to serve in the house of God 
I would rather be a servant in His house than a queen of the world

To be honest I was a big drama queen 
Very self centred and all about me 
As I grow closer to God the me turns to we
The m is now w flipped, crazy it just one letter

I am still a work in progress
Only God can change the heart of anyone
When He was ready for the world to be on time out
Here we are, all we can do is sit and worship Him

With praise and thanks, Let us sing a song to our LORD: 
“He is so good! His faithful love for everyone endures forever!” 
And we shall shout out loud
Praising the Lord because the foundation of the Lord ’s Temple had been laid.

Jesus is our foundation and King over all
Celebrate and worship the King of Kings
For in Him we have a relationship with God
Let us give thanks for His Love endures forever

And the animals on land
You take care of all things, nothing is too big or small for You
Thank You Father for we can rely on You as our provided

My Precious SHOE!

Every Scripture has been inspired by the Holy Spirit, 
the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, 
giving you the strength to take the right direction 
and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.

The Bible, I have come to LOVE
It is not like the shoes I buy
where I wore it once and never again

It has become my everyday shoe
It is the shoe that never wears out
No matter how many times I use it

The sole is always brand NEW
The design is top of the MARKET
It is Priceless and fits every OCCASION

It goes with all my outfits
It goes with all my emotions
It is a lamp that lights my path

It teaches me where to step
It shows me what love is
It shows me that flaws are accepted and loved

It calls me to come as I am
It calls me to drink from the water of life
It gives me the courage

The more I stay with it
The more strength I get
The braver I become

Yes I do love the Bible
Yes it has become my nugget of information
Yes it is sharper than any sword 

Guess what- WHAT? I can never stop reading it
Guess what- WHAT? Did you know it is the one BOOK that the magic is real
Guess what- WHAT? It is the one BOOK that gives me practical advice 

I have the Holy Spirit to help me 
I have the help of the church- the body
I have the benefit of reason - my mind

The Bible help me to get closer to GOD
Leading me to know who JESUS is 
Allowing the Holy Spirit to help me and guide me

Yes it is not like any shoe 
But a very precious shoe 
It has given me a heart transplant because 

God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
Thank You Father that You cared for me
You look out for me always.

ADVENT – Little things matters

You will live in joy and peace.

Who would have taught 
I will still be doing this, 
I didn't and it is  day fifteen
I did not think I will be but then I love challenges

Which is why I said YES 
I must tell you something, come closer
I enjoy looking around and noticing the trees 
And stopping to smell the flowers

Well actually it's looking at the birds and hear them sing
You must try it and the best part is 
Walking but with no headphones on
It feels like a little treat for myself 

And I think I hear a lot better these days 
It is always good to find a way to be kind to myself
Giving little gifts and thanking God and appreciate what I have
I cannot give what I don’t have

This Advent has made me release that 
Little things matter to God 
And He wants me to appreciate it 
Enjoy the people around me and 

Give what I have to others
Be it money or talk or smile 
Love others as He loves me.
For He has given us His Son 

Jesus the name above any other name
At the whisper of that name all demons bow
He is worthy of praise
Thank You Father for as Your ways 

Are higher than mine 
So are Your thoughts than my taughts
I will listen to You 
You know what is best for me

Help me to hear Your voice only
And to walk with You daily
In the Name of Jesus Christ 
Amen.
