And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, "Father, if it is Your Will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My Will, but Yours, be done." Luke 22:41-42

Grace, peace to you.
This week as I study the word Following David’s anointing of worship It has come to my notice Lord Yahweh be my judge and declare me innocent I trust in You Lord without wavering Refine my heart and probe my every thought Put me to the test and you will find me true It is statement and fact that will sink into my mind My heart longs for the Lord and seeks the Lord My mind needs to come to grips with the reality of life The Lord is good, my soul let us stay close to Him Walking with the Lord is not an easy journey But it is worth trusting in Him and listening to His word instead of mine Well mine has not got us far without stumbling every second
Hope you had a good week and Happy Friday 😀.
So this week I started 1 Corinthians 15: Paul lists FACTS of Jesus’ journey “The Cross, His Death and The Resurrection”
'For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to [that which] the Scriptures [foretold], and that He was buried, and that He was [bodily] raised on the third day according to [that which] the Scriptures [foretold], ‘ …(3-4 AMP)
It is worth knowing that we tell the story, we do not create or make it.
The Bible – Jesus Christ is based on facts not opinion. Jesus paid a price for us and that is a fact
Our Lord Jesus Christ is real that is fact He walked on earth that is a fact He was a child, teenager, and lived in His twenties and then got to thirty. That is a fact. He faced all temptation as a human would - that is a fact He overcame all the temptations as a human that is a fact We have a God that has overcome it all - Now that is a fact The other true fact is that He understands what we are going through. So Take heart for Jesus overcame it all and He is a good listener
Consider how sin must be to God for Jesus to die on a cross….
Look at the cross and look at sin and remember the pain, the suffering and then the resurrection.
It is worth following a God that went through that cross so we don’t have to have eternal life in hell. It is real so consider life over death.
On my learning this week, seeing what Jesus went through and then in the commentary which says: Never pity Jesus, save it for those that never come to know the good news. For those that reject the message, the gospel, the good news. Save the pity for preachers that do not tell the truth of the cross and resurrection. And this is true.
Let us consider Jesus first: He drank the cup that separated Him from God the Father. The dreaded cup of sin so we can have life with God the Father Before death, our sins was laid on Him Before the veil was torn, He was separated from the Father This cup, Jesus trembled knowing that He had to do it. His friends slept as He went through this ordeal.
Sometimes we think we are alone but do take heart in whatever situation Pray to God, lest you enter into temptation.
The scriptures was fulfilled, our Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled everyone of it. He drank the poison that was meant to kill Him Yet it gave a whole generation Life abundantly and beyond His Name is greater than any other name True freedom and peace comes from Him alone So I look at the cup: In the Hand of God is the cup The righteousness of God our Holy Father Holds on to the cup of fury The wine it holds is red Fully mixed with spiced, and He pours it out The Lord Jesus drinks it down until it is empty So I don’t have to drink the cup of fury And today I rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ For He is my horn He died for my sins So I can have live and be free And have eternal life
