Learning to Live LIFE in Christ Jesus

And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw,
and He knelt down and prayed, saying,
"Father, if it is Your Will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My Will, but Yours, be done."
Luke 22:41-42

Grace, peace to you.

This week as I study the word
Following David’s anointing of worship

It has come to my notice Lord
Yahweh be my judge and declare me innocent
I trust in You Lord without wavering
Refine my heart and probe my every thought
Put me to the test and you will find me true

It is statement and fact that will sink into my mind
My heart longs for the Lord and seeks the Lord
My mind needs to come to grips with the reality of life
The Lord is good, my soul let us stay close to Him
Walking with the Lord is not an easy journey
But it is worth trusting in Him and listening to His word instead of mine
Well mine has not got us far without stumbling every second

Hope you had a good week and Happy Friday 😀.

So this week I started 1 Corinthians 15: Paul lists FACTS of Jesus’ journey “The Cross, His Death and The Resurrection”

'For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to [that which] the Scriptures [foretold], and that He was buried, and that He was [bodily] raised on the third day according to [that which] the Scriptures [foretold], ‘ …(3-4 AMP)

It is worth knowing that we tell the story, we do not create or make it.

The Bible – Jesus Christ is based on facts not opinion. Jesus paid a price for us and that is a fact

Our Lord Jesus Christ is real that is fact
He walked on earth that is a fact
He was a child, teenager, and lived in His twenties and then got to thirty. That is a fact.
He faced all temptation as a human would - that is a fact
He overcame all the temptations as a human that is a fact
We have a God that has overcome it all - Now that is a fact
The other true fact is that He understands what we are going through.
So Take heart for Jesus overcame it all and He is a good listener

Consider how sin must be to God for Jesus to die on a cross….

Look at the cross and look at sin and remember the pain, the suffering and then the resurrection.

It is worth following a God that went through that cross so we don’t have to have eternal life in hell. It is real so consider life over death.

On my learning this week, seeing what Jesus went through and then in the commentary which says: Never pity Jesus, save it for those that never come to know the good news. For those that reject the message, the gospel, the good news. Save the pity for preachers that do not tell the truth of the cross and resurrection. And this is true.

Let us consider Jesus first:
He drank the cup that separated Him from God the Father.
The dreaded cup of sin so we can have life with God the Father
Before death, our sins was laid on Him
Before the veil was torn, He was separated from the Father
This cup, Jesus trembled knowing that He had to do it.
His friends slept as He went through this ordeal.

Sometimes we think we are alone but do take heart in whatever situation Pray to God, lest you enter into temptation.

The scriptures was fulfilled,
our Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled everyone of it.

He drank the poison that was meant to kill Him
Yet it gave a whole generation
Life abundantly and beyond
His Name is greater than any other name
True freedom and peace comes from Him alone

So I look at the cup:

In the Hand of God is the cup
The righteousness of God our Holy Father
Holds on to the cup of fury
The wine it holds is red
Fully mixed with spiced, and He pours it out
The Lord Jesus drinks it down until it is empty
So I don’t have to drink the cup of fury
And today I rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ
For He is my horn
He died for my sins
So I can have live and be free
And have eternal life

'Open up my understanding to the ways of your wisdom,
and I will meditate deeply on your splendour and your wonders.'

Psalms 119:27 TPT

🙂 It is so good that you drop by. Come and welcome to the vault… Hope you had a good weekend.

My weekend was good and informative

On Sunday, we looked at the Gospel of Luke.

On Saturday, was our next session of God’s Big Story – an overview of the Genesis 1-11 (by Rich Tutt)

GOD the principal character of the whole story
Our journey with God
He is Faithful always even when we are not

God is unique and no one is like Him
In the beginning was the world without form
There was nothing in the world
By faith we understand that God formed the world
With words and all things which are seen
were not made of things which are visible

God is also plural - Elohim
The empty space is no more empty
and by faith we believe
The God of gods is our Shepherd

My key takeaways:

Whenever I study the Word of God: What does the author want to tell us?

Now that is the main question. It is not about me but about God.

For every Judgement there is also Grace from God
God is always gracious and merciful even in the midst of rebellion

Even when I am unfaithful
God is always faithful
Even when I use fig leaves to cover my shame
God died on the CROSS so I will have a tunic of skin

As I lookIn The Garden:

Men decided to take matters into their own hands
The lie they believed was already true
They were already “god”- created in the image of God

Genesis 3:6 – As I listened, Adam was standing right next to Eve as she was questioned and then he ate the fruit with no objection:

LIFE:
No objection, no questions, no stopping:
As we discussed this point, someone did point out
How many times do we do the same thing now?
We watch, or turn a blind eye
“I am not my brother's keeper”

The lies we believe in has not changed

Generations have come and will go and those lies are still the same

BUT

'For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again;
rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “
Abba, Father.” ' Romans 8:14-15 NIV

Beloved Father
The Father that is always faithful
To all generations

Genesis - the beginning and the beginning
God created the world
The place where lines were crossed
Even when the lines were crossed
The Lord God made tunics of skins and clothed for Adam and Eve
The Lord therefore sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken:

Judgement was done and Grace followed

As they stepped Outside the garden and looked back:

The flaming swords stood guarded with no entry and now the man and woman must cultivate and face the consequences

Shame had entered into their world

The presence of Lord was near yet far away – He is a Holy God

In the midst of disappointment –  healing is not far

One must learn:

To be honest with God, to Listen to God and to Receive His peace

Outside is a place of mission to grow

And so they face “The Fall”:

The storm cloud gathers around the man and woman
The voices starts getting louder drowning the truth
Questions are formed
Lines are crossed

Sin had entered through one man
But by One Man’s obedience
Many will be made righteous

The Lord my God is Great
And do wondrous things, You alone are God
There is none like You, Lord
Nor are there any works like Your work

When the storms come
My God in Him I will trust
I will praise You with my whole heart
I will say the Lord is my refuge and my salvation

In looking at Genesis the beginning
Sin came into the world
Time and time again
We want a life without God
But that life is death
And life with God
Is a free gift
With
eternal life in
JESUS CHRIST

‘For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ Romans 6:23 NIV

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord
I praise God for your life
May He teach you
His way as you walk in His foot path
In the Name of Jesus
Amen

We cannot control what happens around us,

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV

“Treasure Trove of Information”

Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
The LORD is my portion, “ says my soul,
Therefore I hope in Him!”

Whitstable Beach

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Come and welcome to the vault…Hope you had a good weekend. It is Bank Holiday Weekend. Thank you for stopping by.

I had a fun weekend, and was at Whitstable on Saturday. Enjoyed the sea, stony beach and fine Portuguese wine. Also did a shell collection which I am not sure what I will do with it yet, a project to work on.

Hope your weekend was adventurous and fun.

On Sunday, no church we had church in the park. It was good as we sat and enjoyed each other’s company. Went home and watched movies and opened the Bible to the Book of Galatians.

As I glance at Galatians and was reminded that
Faith is part of my identity in Christ Jesus
I am not justified by the works of the Law
Nor by the works of the flesh
For by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified
Thank the Lord our God

For Abraham believed in God and it was
Accounted to him for righteousness
And we are all sons of God through Christ Jesus
And if you are in Christ

The most amazing thing is
God is faithful
When God promises
He never changes His promises

It also means that we are Abraham’s seed and heirs to the promises

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is our shield!
For He is a strong tower

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is our Healer
For His thoughts are of peace and not evil

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is our future and hope
For He has given us the SWORD of truth

Let us walk by faith not sight
For God is not a man to lie

Thank YOU LORD
Thank YOU for Salvation

It is the end of August and I praise the Lord for your life

Bless you and your family

Praises –

68:
' As the priests were leaving the Temple,
it was suddenly filled with a cloud shining with the dazzling light of the Lord 's presence,
and they could not go back in to perform their duties.
Then Solomon prayed:
“You, Lord , have placed the sun in the sky,
yet you have chosen to live in clouds and darkness.
Now I have built a majestic temple for you, a place for you to live in forever.” '

1 Kings 8:10-13 GNT
Oh Lord my God
The Mighty One, God the LORD
Maker of Heaven and Earth
And the Father of all creation

Out of the cross to the resurrection
of our Lord Jesus Christ
We see the perfection of beauty
The separation of light from darkness

Lord God, You have placed the sun in the sky
Yet, You have chosen to live among us
And now the Word that was faraway
And out of reach, cutoff from our view
That the flaming sword was a danger to our soul

Now dwells in us and we gaze at Your glory
The glory of the Father, full grace and truth
The light that can never be hidden
The true light that is given to every
man coming into the world

The God that answers when we call upon Him
Let us give thanks to the Lord always
Call upon Him in time of trouble
And He will deliver you and you
shall glorify the LORD
All His saints

And to the wicked that have forsaken the Lord
The world is the Lord’s and all its fullness
Do not think that silence from our
Lord means consent

The Lord is Holy and He Himself is the Judge
Let us offer praises that glorifies the King of kings
Let us come with thanksgiving to the Lord
For He is our salvation and shield
And our exceedingly great reward
Thank you for stopping by
God bless you in your journey

Secure yourself to the amazing Father
and the Lord of our Saviour Jesus Christ

Walk in His promises for Your life
Write them down

Say them out loud to yourself or anyone who will listen

Glorify His name especially in the bad weathers
His promises are trustworthy all the time

Stumbling Block

'if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves,
and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. '

II Chronicles 7:14
Happy Friday and Happy Fool’s Day!

Judges: what is life without God?

They did evil in the sight of God ….
A sentence that sends shivers to the core
of my being on every turn of the page!
A sentence that makes me look and think…
Judging does not help…
What makes me different…
Jesus!
Yet why…
Why sin …
Sin…

The biggest stumbling block!
The illusion becomes a reality
Everyone else to be blame
Sin the course of our downfall
All our hard work becomes profitless
Sin arrives at the time of harvest
It robs us from what we work hard to gain
It never satisfy the soul of men
All we want is more of what we don’t have
All we do is covets
The grass is never greener on the other side
Let not fall into the trap of sin
Limitless, prideful and never measured
Never let prayer be the last resort
Prayer is the first and most important
Talk we can have in our lives
Our mouth is to repent and confess
For our Father is about relationship
He knows and sees and calls and He is Love
Sin the stumble block that Jesus already moved away
