“Treasure Trove of Information”

'Therefore David blessed the Lord in the sight of all the assembly and said,

“Blessed (praised, adored, and thanked) are You,
O Lord God of Israel (Jacob) our father, forever and ever. Yours, O Lord,
is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty,
indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion and kingdom,
O Lord , and You exalt Yourself as head over all. Both riches and honour come from You, and You rule over all.
In Your hand is power and might; and it is in Your hands to make great and to give strength to everyone.
Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name. '

1 Chronicles 29:10-13 AMP

Welcome all 🙂 Come, let us enter the vault.

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Hope you had a good weekend

I must confess my weekend is all about the World Cup Football, I don’t know about you but I do like football. My papa was obsessed with football, so I grew up watching and was given a lesson on football at a young age of five. It was a quality time spent with my papa as we watched the matches. You get to watch, Premiership, the championship, the Euro league, so many to watch but the world cup is for all to join and cheer for your country.

The disappointments equals crying
The joy equals laughing
You get to watch playback of the greatest goals
The greatest footballers
And the obsession continues
The passion is a given
The screaming is natural
What else can we do but watch

But there is only One true obsession that is healthy for the soul
Only one that brings true joy to the heart
Yours O Lord is the greatness
My Lord, You rule over the whole earth
You give strength to the weak
In You alone Jesus we find the true Joy and passion to run the race
To laugh and cry and be silly
To not take things of the world too seriously
But to fear You Father and walk with You
That is man true Joy

You know what, not even my love of football can keep me away from the church. Did you know that the match starts at 10am, no problem guess what we have a playback.

Let us go to church, On Sunday we looked at Luke where Jesus heals the Centurion’s servant and raises the Son of the Widow of Nain (7:1-17), as our Pastor pointed out that Luke was showing us that Jesus is the great prophet – Just as in Old Testament “Elisha raised a Shunammite’s only child and healing of Naaman’s Leprosy. Jesus heals, no matter what your status is and it is by faith. Jesus has compassion for all

Jesus was fully man when He was on earth. He was also fully God and He showed us what it means to be human.

No matter what is going on, no matter what disease – Jesus heals all

Jesus has compassion on all that comes to Him

In faith we made whole and He heals all sickness. Nothing is too big for our God. Jesus has authority over all things. One thing for sure is, Jesus is bigger than any situation in our lives. Instead of looking at the situation we look at Jesus, Author and Perfector of our faith.

As we come to the end of November and go into the season of celebration

The season of light in the darkness
The darkness cannot comprehend the light
The artificial lights in the world will fade
But the true light can never fade

No matter how dark it gets
The light will never fade
For we are only witness to the Light of the world
The true light gives light to every man coming into the world

Glory to the Father who has given us peace on earth
Glory to the Son who shines brightly in the darkness
Glory to the Holy Spirit that directs our path

My soul magnifies the Lord my God
My spirit rejoices in the Lord my Saviour

For the Lord my God has done great things for me
Holy is His Name
And His mercy is on all who fear Him

No one is like our God
Nor is there any rock like Him
Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord
I praise God for your life
May He teach you
His way as you walk in His foot path
In the Name of Jesus
Amen

Remember,
We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.
Be bless and know that the Lord loves you

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '

I WILL praise You with my whole heart
Before the gods I will sing praises to You
I will worship toward Your Holy temple,
And praise Your name
For Your lovingkindness and Your truth
For You have magnified Your word above all Your Name

Psalm 138:1-2
Dubai – Burj Khalifa
As I walked the streets of Dubai
It tells of what man can do
It shows us the amazing gifts we have

Our heavenly Father has given us gifts
For only in Him we find the joy
To enjoy the gifts and to display His glory

And there is no one like our God
You are the Lord of lords
You are the King of kings

In You alone there is freedom
When I cried to You
You have answered me

When I look at the things around me
They fade, they crumble, they die
But You alone are everlasting

You are the God that never fades
You are the same yesterday, today and ever
What is man without God

Even in the midst of trouble
You are with me
And made me bold with strength in my soul

I will tell of your goodness
I will shout of the glory of the Lord
For great is the name of the Lord
Thank you for stopping by
God bless you in your journey

Secure yourself to the amazing Father
and the Lord of our Saviour Jesus Christ

Walk in His promises for Your life
Write them down

Say them out loud to yourself or anyone who will listen

Glorify His name especially in the bad weathers
His promises are trustworthy all the time

“Treasure Trove of Information”

BLESSED is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful

Psalm 1:1

As I listen to the Book of Psalms and medicate on the word

The Book of Law
The Words of our Father through
Christ Jesus that is true to the flesh
Blessed indeed bless is the man
Not the intelligent
Not the rich, not the poor
But the man

The man that delights in the word of the Lord
The man that walks in the way of the righteous
The man that builds his house upon the Rock
The man that abides in the Lord Jesus Christ

Blessed is he
He shall bear fruit in its season

Welcome and come into the vault, the treasures awaits us. It is good to know what we can get from food and what the body can manufacture. Fascinating!

This week I am in Dubai visiting a friend. My weekend was travelling from London to Amsterdam and then Dubai. Hope you had an eventful weekend. I am excited to be away and just relax.

Come let us take a look:

Omega-3  and Omega-6:

Most fatty acids that we require can be produced in the body except for omega-3 and omega-6. These are known as essential fatty acids and have to be obtained from food.

Omega-3 are derived from the alpha-linolenic acid and Omega-6 is derived from linoleic acid. Both are vitality important for the function of the body cardiovascular, reproductive, immune and nervous systems. They are involved and important for the manufacture and repair of cell membranes enabling them to function properly

Some sources of Omega-3:

Salmon, mackerel, Trout, sardines, whitebait, herrings, wheat germ, nuts, Walnuts, Walnuts oil, Pumpkin seeds, Rapeseed oil, and soya beans,

Only small amounts are needed to keep the body healthy. UK recommendation 450 mg/d, 3g a week and can be met with 1-2 portions of oily fish a week

Diets that do not include fish or eggs will be low in the omega 3 long chain fatty acids DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (Eicosapentaenoic).

Plant foods contain an omega 3 fatty acids called alpha linolenic acid (ALA) which can get converted to EPA and DHA in our bodies but this process is not very efficient.

Good sources of ALA include flaxseeds, chia seeds, walnuts and soy. It is also possible to supplement a vegan diet with EPA and DHA from algae.

Omega-6: are also essential in the diet – they enable skin and cell membranes to function healthily and should be eaten in moderation

Omega-6 occurs in nuts, sunflower seeds and oils and  wheat germs

Children should have two portions of fish a week, one of which should be oily. Oily fish such as salmon contain omega-3 fatty acids which are beneficial for brain and eye development.

Although fresh tuna is an oily fish, when it is canned the amount of long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids is reduced to low levels and it is no longer considered an oily fish. The oil that is lost is often collected, refined and re-enters the food supply as fish oil capsules. Canned tuna is still a good source of protein.

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Learning to Live LIFE in Christ Jesus

Let not your heart be troubled;
you believe in God, believe also in Me (Jesus)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:1, 6

Thank God it is FRIDAY! I Love Fridays.

I would say showers of blessings this week. We thank God. Hope and pray your week was good.

Today my mind starts to wonder
Not just today, but anytime I sit with nothing to do
it wonders away

Have I not seen the miracles of Christ Jesus
Am I not free
Yet the doubt creeps in
And as I ponder in my heart

Jesus is still the same
The Lord Jesus our Saviour and King
He is the healer and redeemer

And so I opened my Bible and the pages is on John 14:1
Do NOT let your heart be troubled
Believe in me as You believe in God

Where can I go if not to You, my God
Who else can I trust my God and Saviour Jesus Christ

You are the only one that have the living water and bread of life
You have saved my soul from the pit of hell
You have given me the hope of a new life
You have given me joy that strengthens my bones
You have quiet my soul to focus on the Lord Yahweh

Lord, You sent the Holy Spirit to help me
Where can I sit other than Your presence
For You have the keys and have set me free
Where can I go

So I continue the journey with Paul, it really does open my eyes to the things around me. The differences we have that can be solved by knowing each others love language.

Actions are welcomed as much as words

I tell you something
Whatever God does,
It shall be forever,
nothing can be added to it,
and nothing can be taken from it.

I love the Gospel of Christ. The treasures that can be found with the help of the Holy Spirit. And come let us continue!

But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ,
the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God
1 Corinthian 11:3

It is interesting that Paul defines and shapes the headship in the church.

To Corinthians, there needed to be a structure and discipline.

For there was madness and folly happening – let start at the beginning

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God
He was in the beginning with God
And all things were made through Him
And without Him nothing was made
In Him we have life, and the life was the light of men

Paul takes us back to the beginning
Jesus is the head of every man
Man is the head of woman
God (The Father) is the Head of Christ

With the Head, the light shines bright in the darkness
And the darkness cannot comprehend it

We have options as women in the Church to follow the rebellious nature of man as they follow Christ or be humble and loving submission as Christ to God.

It is a choice.

God is not a God of chaos
In His kingdom there is authority
And man and woman have different ways to submit to the authority of God
God looks for voluntary submission
Jesus voluntary submitted to God the Father
Even though He is equally God

'Jesus gave them this answer:
“Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself;
He can do only what He sees His Father doing,
because whatever the Father does the Son also does. '
John 5:19 NIV

Yes, I continue to listen to 1 Corinthians 11 – the context of this chapter and the head covering; Paul points us to the order of authority in the Church. He directs the Corinthians to understanding:

The order of authority, in this context of verse five in 1 Corinthians 11:  a man dishonours His Head (Christ) with covering of head and the same is with the woman with no covering.

We are set apart to bring good news to the poor
We are the light of the world
No one hides a lamp under a bed

That means our behaviours are to be an example of one under the authority of God

We don’t need to cover our head
But we do get to be humble and also respectful to the heads in our churches

To the Corinthians it was a public declaration that I am under the authority of another,
when the women covered their head and the men didn't.

Going against the grain and standing out and showing that God is God
The kingdom of God has authority over my life

Authority has to be in the body of Christ.
For Christ is the Head of the Church and that means we are all under the authority of God
