Dance of life

'So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. 
Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. 
Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. '

Life is a dance and the sound can be different 
What sound do we hear?

After all what gives us hope and joy
And what will be our proud reward and crown
As we stand before our Lord Jesus 

Greater is He that is me than he that is the world 
The dance of life continues as I woke up

Life is sweet and yet can have a bitter taste 
What is man that we should come before the Lord our God
Like a tree and the wind comes and breaks it into pieces 

As I step into the dance floor 
Moving from one hand to the other 
Forgetting our first Love 
Who has never forgotten us

When I was chosen it was love 
When I said Yes it was because He already said Yes

As I swirl around 
My mind keeps replaying things of the past 
And I know it is not from the Lord 
Yet I find myself entertaining the idea

And oh how I Love the Lord 
For He will always Love me and call out to me 
And in a split second only to open the Bible and be reminded 
Of who I am the words penetrate into my heart

The music stops 
The focus shifted 
A different sound was louder 
A teardrop and I was reminded

The words of Paul in Colossians three
Goes straight into my heart
Piercing every bone and bringing the body and mind to attention
For does it matter in this world
I have a new dress on and I don’t wish to get it stained 
It might get dirty as I run the race 
White does gets dirty very easily 
but it is nothing that has not already been removed 


So I say to myself we are new creation 
We are a new creation with new dress on
 
For it is by faith that we walk this earth 
For what does it matter what I am wearing 
All that matters is Christ Jesus and He lives in all of us 
So I will boast and get the dress dirty
I will let love rule my heart 

For what does it matter
Indeed what does it matter 

In this world, Christ overcame it all  
It is Christ that we live for and I put on this lovely dress
That is full of love
Patience that I don’t understand 
The music plays, the sound is different
  
As I swirl around and let the music wash over me 
As I give thanks through Christ Jesus to God the Father
 
Tomorrow is another day
Today is a day to dance with the Lord 
The Lord of justice and compassion 
He has no favourite 
So I will dance to sound of His music

This week was windy and rainy. 
So imagine my surprise on Thursday  to see the road blocked by a fallen tree. 
Thank God no one was hurt 
Only the poor car
Well can you imagine getting up seeing your car underneath the branches
Thank God for life and things in this world will fade

Knowledge

'For no matter how many promises God has made, 
they are “Yes” in Christ. 
And so through him the “Amen” 
is spoken by us to the glory of God. '

Yahweh, The Lord,
The God of compassion and Mercy
Who is always faithful and 
Lavishes us with His Unfailing Love 

I will smile to that 
I will scream and shout for Joy
I will speak of His goodness to all

The fear of the Lord 
is the beginning of Knowledge 

Knowledge, is great to have 
I have heard of this, so many times 
Knowledge is power

Is it? 
I sit and reflect on knowledge 
Is knowledge by itself power

The fear of the Lord
Is the beginning of knowledge 

So many paradox in life 
Looking at the books on the self
Dust gathering, so much information 

Yet it is still in the shelf
Yet the shelf is full with so much knowledge 

I have come to learn
I have come to understand 
I have come to know that the Lord shows up all the time

Knowledge is power 
Knowledge becomes the sword that cuts everything 
Knowledge is powerful in the hands of the one that wields the sword

So I pick up my Sword of the Spirit
The Sword that will never leave you the same

Yes I have been reflecting on knowledge 
Yes I believe in the Lord 
Yes I believe that God will break the unbreakable

The fear of the Lord 
is the beginning of Knowledge 

Anything else is an addition to the journey
Picking up as I run the marathon 
But fools despise wisdom and instruction 

So the journey is all alone
Even when wisdom calls out loud 
Do not block your ears with the cares of the world 

But seek the Lord and all His righteousness 
Turn to Him, and never forget to glorify the Lord

It takes very little to please me 
It takes a smile to bring a smile to my face
It takes a compliment to bring joy to my heart

Reflect on His Glory:

Holy, Holy, Holy
Lord God Almighty
The True Shepherd
 
Who searches for His sheep 
Who seeks them out

He lives the ninety-nine to find the one
He looks for all the scattered sheep

In the places where they are scattered

He looks even when it is a cloudy day or the dark days 
He brings the light with Him, for He is the light

He seeks out all the lost and delivers them 
He binds the broken and strengthen what was weak

He is a fair Judge who shows no partiality
Wisdom and understanding comes from Him

He gives counsel and might to all who obey Him
It is in Him we find the Spirit of knowledge 
It is in Him that we delight in the fear of the Lord

And in that day and even now 
Oh Lord, we will praise You

Behold You are our salvation

Who came to save us from all preys
Who gives us peace without human understanding
Who gives us showers of blessings in its season

We will trust in You and not be afraid
For Your Kingdom is upside down

Pleasure of the week!

Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime;
It is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms.
He gives showers of rain to all people,
And plants of the field to everyone.

Happy Friday and thank You Lord 
Faithful You are 
The weather was ever changing 
The entire week was warm, cold and raining 

In one day, the mysteries of the world 
Yesterday as I stepped out of my house 
One side was raining on the same street the other side was dry 
My front door floor was both dry and wet 
What a sight 

So I look at the floor and smiled 
Looked at the sky 
The beauty of the creator 
And my entire walk was singing and smiling 
Different songs combined together my own paraphrase version

Your mercy, O Lord is in the Heavens
Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds 
Your righteousness is like the great mountains
Your judgment are deeper than the ocean
O Lord You preserve man and beast
Your faithfulness is forever

Great is Your faithfulness
Great is Your faithfulness
Morning by morning 
New mercies I see
All I have needed Your hand has provided 

So I worshiped with these few lines in my head 
The whole hour and came home to listen to it-earworm
“Great is Thy faithfulness”
Thank the Lord for internet
The amazing thing is, so many versions online 
But I prefer the old version song

The way to defeat the enemy 
Worship, so I reflect on Yahweh 
I worshiped Him and I have decided to do some potted planting 
I pray for my plants and I was reminded of Jonah 
So I prayed to God to let me see the world in
His eyes with compassion for all creatures 
And the world I live in

So in my head, I started to think
Plants are easy they don’t argue back 
I try to argue, well I try to reason in my heart 
The grass weathers, the plants fade
But the word of God stands forever

All things are the beauty of God 
So I am documenting my plant and not getting attached to it 
They will die, eventually everything dies 
Maybe I should get a dog 
Then it is another responsibility
Will see may be I do want a dog, I like cats
But I don’t want to be the cat lady
Preference is dog if any animal to get my affection 
Sorry cats!

So this week my eyes has seen 
The King in his beauty and I have come 
To view the land that stretches far with all the beautiful flowers
The heavens are telling of the glory of God
And the expanse is declaring the work of His hands
The sky shows the majestic King  
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God 
The earth was without form 
The Lord spoke and behold we look at the beauty of His creation daily

So I smiled to my God 
I dance to my Father 
I sing to the Almighty 
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom
And strength and honour and glory and blessing

One side rain and the other dry, it was an amazing site. Also seeing the plants grow is truly something to step out of the house for. Got some of the plants as gifts for my birthday and bought some.

Our Saviour

My adventurous walks and finding out that Bermondsey has a beach in the lockdown, shocking!
Lord when I am cold, You put my feet in socks 
You watch closely all my paths
You set a limits for the soles of my feet

Who can ever replace You?
There is no one in the earth that compares to You
You prevail forever

As the trees leaves falls in its season
And the rock is moved from its place 
As water wears away stones

So will our Hope if not on You
So our Lord and Savior I trust in You 
I lay my hand over my mouth
 
And listen to You Father
Speak Lord for Your servant is listening
I have heard of You and I now see You 

Through the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ 
Who saved all 
As gift from You
