The art and beauty of knowing the past!

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Proverbs 2:6-8 NIV

I just wanted share one of my passion is looking at pictures and seeing the beauty of it. A friend’s brother is the artist behind the pictures, and sometimes we all tell our stories through different ways. This is a therapy to him.

This is one of my favourite drawings and a history behind the great woman in her time is just amazing. If you don’t know who she is, see below:

Harriet Tubman: Aside from helping her family (and thousands more) escape slavery, she led troops in combat, cured a disease, and was generally way more badass than history generally portrays her.

She was the Moses of her time avoiding cops, dogs, mobs, bounty hunters, and slave catchers. She and her escapees slept in swamps and moved only at night. Once with her on the Railroad, she will threated anyone who lost their nerve to escape. She even once had to drug a baby. She once told a man”You go on or die.”

The end of the line, we can all make a difference in where exactly God has placed us. No matter how small it is or how big … It all counts.

Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.
Psalms 119:38 NIV

Have a wonderful day and remember live in the now not the past or the future you haven’t seen but right now.

Celebrating Black History Month

Celebrating Black History Month in UK. A month that looks at the history of what we have contributed to the UK.
No matter how dark it becomes, a light is always provided by God. In the day we have Sun, at night we have the moon to show us the light.

What a year and a blessing! All Praise and Glory belongs to You God.

The First of October a time to look at the heroes in the black community that have done so much . Serving You and the people you have placed around them. Lord Jesus thank You for these wonderful people.

We don’t know all, but God You know each and everyone of them. You know the contributions that they have done and so faithfully without complaining or giving up.

They never gave up and neither will we. It has taken so long to recognise or acknowledge the work they did. God You know each and everyone of them.

This year has shown the hearts of everyone. It has bought to the surface the things that was hidden both good and bad. Lord everything has time and place.

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under the Heavens:

A time to be born – the season that all gifts come to life. The fruits of the Spirit to be used for the Glory of God.

And a time to die – this is the season for the hurts all the malicious, the hatred, the things that are not of you to die. It is been too long and only You can heal the hearts and raise the Spirit that is within us to come alive through Christ Jesus

A time to plant: Lord Jesus the planting will never stop and as our Grandma’s, Grandpa’s, mum’s and papa’s, uncles, aunts, cousins, sisters, brothers, daughters and sons have done in all the years passed. We continue to plant. As we are in the season of unity let your Holy Spirit plant that in our hearts everywhere we go so when the time comes..

And a time to pluck what is planted: this is the season for peace, humility and acceptance. For the friends and allies we have, who will always stand firm in our corner because two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labour. For when one fall the other will lift up his companion.

We seem to see under the sun, In the place of judgment, wickedness was there, and in the place of righteousness, iniquity was there. I said in my heart, “God shall judge the righteous and the wicked, For there is a time there for every purpose and for every work” Ecclesiastes 3:16-17

We are in the time to reflect in our hearts. Never have anyone sat down and look themselves in the mirror to see what can I do to help or what can I say? We are more capable than we will like to think but doing nothing or turning a blind eye means a yes.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear God and keep His commandments; For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

This is inspired by one of my favourite books in the Bible Ecclesiastes.

We are now closer to the end of the year and very grateful.

Thank You for reading and have a blessed day.
