“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, Therefore I hope in Him!” Lamentations 3:24 NKJV
Wwwp5K day 14: just my taught as I type on the phone app.
Thank You Jesus for You alone are the True Shepherd
Today is a raining day Yes it is not a weather forecast Should I say it is Seems to rain most days this December
Working from home has some perks Don’t need to run to catch the train or bus but I do need to have an internet Not today, wow what do I do with myself
No internet for a whole day I could get angry or just get out of the house Good idea let’s go for a walk
Grabbed my raincoat and camera Looks like it might rain Managed a few shot And as luck will have it
It did start to rain Should I say poured down As I stood under the shade of a house Waiting for the rain to calm down
My mind as usual starts to wonder off Today is not your day So I decided to walk back under rain It was not a pleasant walk
Amazing did not get soaked bad Got home and still no internet Well I could write don’t need internet Could read don’t also need internet
Settle for reading: “There are six things the Lord hates— no, seven things he detests:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong,
a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family.” Proverbs 6:16-19 NLT
Thank You Father for today another day To remind me of Your goodness and mercy To also show me the things that You hate Help me Lord Jesus to walk with You, amen.
Thank you for stopping by. May the Spirit cause this season to bring comfort, assurance and gladness as you go about your day. In Jesus Name, Amen.
For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptureswe might have hope. Romans 15:4 ESV
London, Covent Garden, 2018
The nugget for the the day is REST
R - review the day both in the morning
and evening by taking time to reflect
on what God did and what He will do (expectancy)
If God said to write something down,
then it must be good for us.
Remember [with awe and gratitude] the wonderful thingswhich He has done, His amazing deeds and the judgmentsuttered by His mouth [on His enemies, as in Egypt],Psalms 105:5 AMP
Writing it down means we remember the goodness of
God and we can also share it with others.
It also brings encouragement and hope
I always find that my heart swells up when
I read my old journal of prayers
and thanks.
Or sometimes it brings back memories:
oh yes I did ask for that wow God You listen.
Imagine if Paul did not write how he met Jesus.
The Bible is our example of why we should write
things down.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8 ESV
Imagine if Moses had not written anything down
anything and said I will remember.
We read it and that tells us who He is.
I like tangible evidence.
In my time of rest, I will write down what You have done for me. Lord Help me to always remember to write it down Not just for myself but to give You glory and praise.
Exercise the mind:
Meditating on the word day and night.
The world says empty your mind, Jesus says if you empty your mind and not fill it up with the things of God then we call the trouble in not just one but seven. Matthew 12:43-45. Think about it.
God says meditate on my word day and night.
Do not let it depart from you.
Thank You Father that Your word is a Lamp to my feet and a light to my path, may I always recognise and look to You in Jesus name. Amen
Sleep:
The first thing we experience when God created us was to rest, when Adam was created on the six day,
God rested on the seven day and
that says a lot about it.
I have always found it fascinating the way
God has built our body to heal itself naturally.
Which is why it is nice to journal the thoughts in our head before bed, thinking too much can lead to
sleepless nights.
It is while we sleep that the body starts to work. If we can't get any sleep then it is always a good idea to get some help. It easier said than done, but seeking advice is better than a sleepless night.
Time and Thanks:
Time waits for no one and it is something
everyone has in common.
Twenty-four hours, use it wisely and it will
be your friend.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV
Take time to say thanks to the people around you.
It is a season to be grateful and no excuse is better than “It's Christmas, and I am in the Christmas mood and want to say thank you for this year."
In everything give thanks to our God.
Thank You Father, for this year. It had its ups and
downs, I will say possibly more downs than ever.
But what I have come to know is that You have been there
through it all. I have seen Your faithfulness in my life
and my loved loves. Some are not here anymore, and that
is Your will. God help me to remember that Your ways are
not my ways and Your thoughts are not mine. Forgive me
for trying to manipulate You, for doing what I want
forgetting that You know best and see everything.
Let me be Humble to remember and give thanks for
everything, In Your Son’s name. Amen.
Yours, O Lord , is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord , and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.
1 Chronicles 29:11 NLT
Lord Jesus thank you.
Wwwp5K - Day 2:
Thank You God for the boldness to step outside
The journey continues,
as I walk the streets to the park
in the cold weather,
I think to myself what have I done.
Can I, do I, well this is it
yes the taughts of quiting
already sliding through
the door that is close
The weather was definetly
not helping
as my hands starts to feeze
OK we need to walk faster than this
So I started to run home
Wow not so bad now that I am in the
house in the warmth
with a nice hot water
Come back tomorrow to find out
If I did brave the outdoors again
For now thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24 NIV
Portsmouth, U.K.
Our Heavenly Father
You are the King of Kings
The Lord of Lord and the Great God
You sent Your Son Jesus to not only chose us
But to show us the way
Lord You have taught us how to pray
Very simple and effective daily prayer
A Prayer that brings Your Kingdom into our focus
A Prayer that focuses on what matters to You
As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I wonder around the path because I am not focus on You
Walking further away I go
Don’t know what is pulling me away
Sometimes I know what makes me take my eyes away from You
As I looked at my hand
I saw that You have always been there
I just could not see You
The distractions, the tears and self doubt was covering my eyes
And then you prompted me to Pray
Don’t lean on your understanding for that will lead you
Further into the darkness
You must master it and focus on the truth
Then I looked on the inside and said to myself
Don’t be discouraged, don’t be stress
For I fully expect my Saviour and God
To lead us to the truth
Then I will have plenty of reason to praise Him
So I stepped back on the road
And all of a sudden my mind start to think
What truth are we looking for
The truth that is right in front of us
The truth that sets us free
The truth that came to the world
The truth that wash all our sins away
The truth that is the way to life everlasting
The truth that knows all the flaws and still accept us
That truth is what we have to hold on to
So I pray and then start to understand
Your ways are not my ways
And sometimes it might seem like eternity for an answer
Then you say be patience and that my God
I need Your strength and endurance
For patience seems like the word that triggers
Triggers self doubts and second-guess
Lord Jesus thank You for showing me that patience
Brings glory to our God and Father
Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day and be blessed.
Come to my home each day and listen to me. You will find happiness.

“How you feel about tomorrow starts with today”
Thank You God that You sent the light of the world to shine brightest in my darkest day and that no shadow is cast out. Amen.
Routines are not just for today but for life: We are a creature of habits and having a routine in our daily life helps so much.
Nuggets for today are really geared in the direction of having a work space and home space both in our mind and physical home.
Routines can be boring but it means we get to be productive daily and know that we have accomplished something.
Having a routine gives us a reason to get up:
The brain feels more motivated when it achieves something, even as a child we need that compliments from our parents for the accomplishment we have done. Everyone wants to be recognised or maybe just me. It all started when we were children looking for that approval from our parents. Like cleaning our room or finishing our homework or getting a good grade.
It is no different to now, we get motivated knowing that we have accomplished something. We look forward to a reward and how you get a reward as an adult, you make them and get your mind to look forward to it.
So as we go into a second lockdown in the U.K. it is now necessary to have a morning routine to our daily lives. Not just morning but the whole day routine.
Things that have helped me daily for years now. So whether we work from home or go to work, we need a routine to make it work and life to be easy on ourselves. The big bad wolf stays outside your home and you get to have peace in your life.
Morning Routine – Prepare for work:
What that means is:
Praying, journaling and exercise. No compromise on these. Journaling gives a sense of what the day ahead will be like, being positive at the get go sets the day for what lies ahead. It’s all about intentionally looking to the brightest light in front of us and knowing that God is our strength, the rock behind that we can lean on. Jesus is the focus of our attention.
One thing I have learnt is to just write or type until you finish, then you can go back and edit but don’t stop the flow.
Have a work space that is separate from your living space. Definitely a no no on the bedroom. Don’t work from the bed as it is not good for your posture and it also doesn’t give you that sense of waking up completely.
Get up and shower, make your bed, get dressed and go to work. You will be amazed at what it does to the brain, knowing that you have to go to work, you have to get ready. Shower definitely wakes us up and gets us ready, better yet have a cold shower that definitely always wakes me up and it feels so good. Even if you are working at home, making that effort does wonder to you.
Create the morning routine to include breakfast.
Never work before breakfast; if you have to work before breakfast, eat your breakfast first. ~ Caroline B Collney
This is definitely true, and also breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

This is for people working from home as most people are: Log in 20 minutes before you start.
Maintain a normal working routine not to feel isolated. Log in at the same time as everyone and that gives you a chance to speak to your colleagues within working hours without feeling guilty. Stay connected with them, don’t be shy to pick up the phone instead of emails.
Be kind to yourself by making sure that you are always on time and don’t feel pressure or guilt to do extra hours just because you are at home.
Get a lunch break: use these time to self care for example mediate, relax and listen to your taught, spend time with your family to have lunch or friends.
If you are single and on your own:
Take time to read a book that you have wanted to read for so long and haven’t got the time to. Now you have all the time to listen to music, read the Bible. Never use your lunch times to catch up on news, or listen to news at any time during the working hours. You wouldn’t do it in normal working conditions. Why start it now? If you have already then you can unlearn it and get back into a self care routine.
There are limits to what we can do around us and that is the spread of the COVID19, as individuals our part is to stay safe and listen to what the professionals say.
Every person must submit to and support the authorities over him. For there can be no authority in the universe except by God’s appointment, which means that every authority that exists has been instituted by God. Romans 13:1 TPT
Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

We often suffer but are never crushed, even if we don’t know what to do. Never give up, know that God is always with us. When we are knocked down, get up and let Jesus help you up.
