For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow. Ecclesiastes 1:18 NKJV

Grace and peace to you from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wow, another week has started and I am delighted you can drop by.
Welcome to my vault, hope you had a good weekend? For me?…
It is another Monday, there is a desirable treasure that when found at a great price, you will hide it and then sell all you have just so you can have it. Is it worth it? Absolutely!
Come let us sit and talk. This is not a surprise, my weekend was a walking one shocker! I know:
It has been a while since I saw the Tower Bridge open so yesterday was a perfect afternoon to see it open again.
I am now fully vaccinated before the madness starts today, God is great What perfect timing! Well today, from my perspective It is leap of faith we are all jumping into the pull of water and trusting in God to help us in this next phrase of madness What profit can we have hiding away? One generation will pass away and another generation comes The earth will abide forever The sun will rise and the sun will go down This is our generation and we have to face the music The dance starts today The true dance We need to face this and see what can be done We are battling not only a virus but A change in climate Madness, I tell you Are we all mad enough to see the true Are we all mad enough to do something about it Our generation will leave What do we want the next generation to face We all need to work as a team
Life is a marathon, not a sprint. It is always good to slow down and find that pace than jumping into something that will get you crashed.
In life we need to recognise and protect our assets.
I could go on, but I will put the break on and talk about something else.
Thirst according to the dictionary is a feeling of needing or wanting to drink something.
Thirst- can you recognise thirst from hunger.
Most people confuse thirst with hunger. It can be hard to recognise whether it is really food or water your body needs. Both thirst and hunger signals are controlled in the same area of the brain.
The same goes with habitual ways of eating can also override the ability to distinguish between true hunger and just eating for the sake of it. Which can lead to confusion. Is it hungry or just eating out of habit which consequently makes it difficult to recognise when you are satiated.
One way to know the difference is
Next time you are feeling hunger or peckish, drink a glass of water and wait 10 minutes to see if you are still hungry
Try eating only when hungry and that might sound simple but can be difficult if you have forgotten exactly what a hunger stimulus feels like
Eating for hunger is a boring exercise alone to just refuel hence why it is so good to stop.
How to get into the habit of eating when hungry?
It is a very simple act of stopping, pausing to give yourself a minute’s thinking time to reflect and ask why you want to eat?
Create a space and be gracious to yourself for it is not as easy as it sounds.
Look after yourself
Drink plenty of water throughout the day to avoid dehydration and the recommended (UK government) is 6 to 8 glasses a day in addition to the fluids you get from the food eaten daily.
Also note that: All non-alcoholic drinks count BUT water, lower fat milk and lower sugar drinks including tea and coffee are healthier choices.
Try to avoid sugary soft and fizzy drinks as they are not only high in calories but bad for your teeth.
Remember to drink more fluids during hot weather or while exercising.
Also it is your body and if you don’t take care of it then who will.
Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again. Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂 May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord I praise God for your life May He teach you His way as you walk in His foot path In the Name of Jesus Amen Remember, We cannot control what happens around us, but we can control our responses. And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week: 'However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
