“Treasure Trove of Information”

For in much wisdom is much grief,
and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

Ecclesiastes 1:18 NKJV

Grace and peace to you from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wow, another week has started and I am delighted you can drop by.

Welcome to my vault, hope you had a good weekend? For me?…

It is another Monday, there is a desirable treasure that when found at a great price, you will hide it and then sell all you have just so you can have it. Is it worth it? Absolutely!

Come let us sit and talk. This is not a surprise, my weekend was a walking one shocker! I know:

It has been a while since I saw the Tower Bridge open so yesterday was a perfect afternoon to see it open again.

I am now fully vaccinated before the madness starts today,
God is great
What perfect timing!
Well today, from my perspective
It is leap of faith
we are all jumping into the pull of water and
trusting in God to help us in this next phrase of madness

What profit can we have hiding away?
One generation will pass away and another generation comes
The earth will abide forever
The sun will rise and the sun will go down

This is our generation and we have to face the music
The dance starts today
The true dance

We need to face this and see what can be done
We are battling not only a virus but
A change in climate

Madness, I tell you
Are we all mad enough to see the true
Are we all mad enough to do something about it

Our generation will leave
What do we want the next generation to face
We all need to work as a team

Life is a marathon, not a sprint. It is always good to slow down and find that pace than jumping into something that will get you crashed.

In life we need to recognise and protect our assets.

I could go on, but I will put the break on and talk about something else.

Thirst according to the dictionary is a feeling of needing or wanting to drink something.

Thirst- can you recognise thirst from hunger.

Most people confuse thirst with hunger. It can be hard to recognise whether it is really food or water your body needs. Both thirst and hunger signals are controlled in the same area of the brain.

The same goes with habitual ways of eating can also override the ability to distinguish between true hunger and just eating for the sake of it. Which can lead to confusion. Is it hungry or just eating out of habit which consequently makes it difficult to recognise when you are satiated.

One way to know the difference is

Next time you are feeling hunger or peckish, drink a glass of water and wait 10 minutes to see if you are still hungry

Try eating only when hungry and that might sound simple but can be difficult if you have forgotten exactly what a hunger stimulus feels like

Eating for hunger is a boring exercise alone to just refuel hence why it is so good to stop.

How to get into the habit of eating when hungry?

It is  a very simple act of stopping, pausing to give yourself a minute’s thinking time to reflect and ask why you want to eat?

Create a space and be gracious to yourself for it is not as easy as it sounds.

Look after yourself

Drink plenty of water throughout the day to avoid dehydration and the recommended (UK government) is 6 to 8 glasses a day in addition to the fluids you get from the food eaten daily.

Also note that: All non-alcoholic drinks count BUT water, lower fat milk and lower sugar drinks including tea and coffee are healthier choices.

Try to avoid sugary soft and fizzy drinks as they are not only high in calories but bad for your teeth.

Remember to drink more fluids during hot weather or while exercising.

Also it is your body and if you don’t take care of it then who will.

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord
I praise God for your life
May He teach you
His way as you walk in His foot path
In the Name of Jesus
Amen

Remember,
We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.
Be bless and know that the Lord loves you
Lots of Love - Hannah

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV

04:

You will worship me with all your heart,
and I will be with you

Jeremiah 29:13 CEV
Can we find such a one as this, a man whom is the Spirit of God?

I am enjoying getting to know God through Joseph’s story

The Bible is rich with wisdom and knowledge
The sun rises and the sun sets
The eye is never satisfied with seeing

Nor is the ear filled with hearing
What is crooked cannot be made straight
And what is lacking cannot be numbered

For I say to my heart
All will pass away
Wisdom comes from the Father

And the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge
With it comes wisdom to discern

For the Lord is the One that sees the heart of men
For without the Lord, the heart falls into despair

All madness, so I say to myself I will trust in the Lord
I will boast in Him only
For His eyes watches over all our ways

Nothing can be hidden from His face
So I come closer to Lord
For Who can hide from Him

In the mountains, the hills and the caves
The Lord is right there
The Lord my God is my strength and my fortress

My refuge in the day of affliction
When I could not think and get so distracted
I call upon His name

And He delivered me from my fears
The Lord redeems the soul of His servants
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned

Be glad in the Lord and rejoice
Shout for joy, all you are upright in heart

For He remains faithful forever
That is the true nature of our God
Thank you for stopping by
God bless you in your journey

Secure yourself to the amazing Father
and the Lord of our Saviour Jesus Christ

Walk in His promises for Your life
Write them down

Say them out loud to yourself or anyone who will listen

Glorify His name especially in the bad weathers
His promises are trustworthy all the time

Adjust my gaze

'So the Pharisees and teachers of religious law asked him,
“Why don’t your disciples follow our age-old tradition?
They eat without first performing the hand-washing ceremony.”'

Mark 7:5 NLT
Burgress Park-Southwark Park. London
As I ponder on the words of Jesus:

The people honour Me with lips
But their hearts is far from Me
And in vain they worship Me
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men

Why oh why do we like imaginary boxes
The Lord our God is vast and beyond our comprehension
The Lord creates and can not be contain in a box

Yes to Jesus
Yes to Him alone -

I have come to understand that saying Yes is
Saying no to the things that pleases my flesh
And constantly adjusting my eyes that wanders around

As I continue to ponder to myself
Is the old life completely gone?
Not a chance, it creeps in slowly

Life is accustomed to and feel good moments
Life likes familiarity

Yes to Jesus
Means not walking alone
Is it easy? Of course NOT

See this week,
we have showers of blessings in London
No surprise, It is always raining

Boy was I glad,
I didn’t have to water my potted plants
So on Thursday no rain,

Well I checked up on my plants,
the leaves are out wow
You will not believe it

I see something I did not plant
Oh dear this is not good

Weeds - I saw weeds
My eyes widely open -

with questions
How did you get in here?
What does it mean?

So these weeds are sprouting
from the gaps between the stones
In life as I ponder, I have gaps too

Days when I just want to look inwardly
Days when I don’t anything but me

These are the days the gaps are created
And these gaps makes me lose focus

They bring doubts and fears
They make me look with the wrong lens on
They make me think everyone is against me

As I ponder on what to do
I saw Him and all He wants is to be with me

He is part of my life
Not only when I want Him to be
He should be with me all the time

Life is not easy,
the weeds will sprout
when we are flourishing

When water is good and
I am soaked in His word
When I am vulnerable

It is easy to be distracted
Watch and pray
Be alert always

Yes I decided not to pull all the weeds out
Well I also wanted to see what they will be like
when the time is right

I can distinguish them and pull them out
Very exciting news

For now they stay
I read up that some can be a good flower
Who knows, we will see

So looking at the weeds
In the quietness

In my own craziness
I look at the sky
The sky proclaim the work of His hands

Consider and hear me, O Lord my God
Make my eyes sparkle again
Lest my eyes wonder and fall into the trap of death

So I went for a walk - to burgess park
It is a very big park, looking at the green trees and just enjoying nature

I trust in Your unfailing love
My heart rejoices in Your salvation

I will sing the Lord’s praise
For He has been good to me

As I ponder on the words of Jesus

Trust and relax

'Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? '

Matthew 6:25
Do not worry about anything
Your life, what you will eat or what you will drink
I thank my God everyday
In all my prayers, that the Joy of the Lord will always be our strength

Our Father knows what we want and gives before we even ask.
As a result, it has become clear that we should not worry,
Why worry? It is always easier said than done
But the strength is not my own

It is true that we sometimes worry
But it never brings any results
So I sit and reflect on the words of the Lord
As the He walks in the cool of the day

In the beginning
Where Adam and Eve hide themselves
But our God is so compassionate and sees
The Father that knows exactly what they had done

He gives us chances and will never ever give up
Where are you?
So this theme is stuck in my head this week.
Where can I hide?

If I run to the heavens, You are there
If I hide under my bed, You are there
If I run to the pit, You are there
Why?

Because You are the Father that cares
Giving us chances to repent and forgive

I had my first vaccine, Astrazeneca,
on Saturday, at 8:15 am.
It was a nice walk in the morning from my house to the centre
It is not scary, I don’t like needles and it was painless

And I refused to listen to fears and focus on God
I said to myself, I will guard my heart and my ways
Lest I sin with my tongue

Surely everyone walks about like a shadow
Surely they busy themselves in vain
Surely every man is a vapor

Yes surely I have been told I look at the shadows
I don’t look, but I see it and know I have the light
Shadows are there only when there is light

With light we have shadows and
With no light darkness covers the earth
But who do we focus

Nothing happen, after taking the vaccine. thank God
I took paracetamol before the vaccine
So I was happy that I had no side effect

And on Sunday, taught to my myself
I will pamper myself before church
After having a nice hot bath

All of a sudden a panic
Mind you I was in a hot bath, but the feeling was different
In the midst of this, my forehead was heating up

It was dripping with sweat
My mind was racing
I stopped to think and also
push away the negative thought bubbling up

Like a balloon been blown up
No, no I did not want this balloon to explode
I started to Pray

In all this busyness and distraction
was a little nudge to sit
Which could have been missed

So I listened and sat down
Very quiet, focused and relaxed
My breathing was calming down

The room was quiet
The mind was quiet
For once it was silent everywhere

But all that dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadows of the Almighty
So I said to my Lord, He is my refuge and strength

He is my healer, my God in Him I trust.
As I relax on the sofa
He covered me with His feathers

Under His wings I was refreshed
His truth was my shield and buckler

I was not afraid of the terror
Nor the thoughts that wanted to over take me
I was calmed and relaxed

The blanket of the Lord was over me and
I was alive again, all panic and fever that was inflated
The air in balloon was open and it deflated slowly

As I relax in the shadows
I knew then what it means not to worry

Our Father who art in Heaven
Let Your will be done
Through Christ Jesus who strengthen us

God is good and loves us so much
He looks for us, knowing what we have done
He sent His son to pay the sins that we should have paid for

So, where are you?
No need hiding because He knows what we have done

He chooses us before the creation of the world
He sees us and came to rescue everyone
This is very much good news

I pray that this weekend and everyday
you experience the blanket of God
A Fathers love is very precious
For this love brings live into us
In Christ Jesus

By Grace we have been saved through Faith
It is a gift of God, and no one can boast
For we are all His workmanship

02:

O LORD, You are my God
I will exalt You
I will praise Your Name,
For You have done wonderful things
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth
Isaiah 25:1 NKJV
Southwark Park, London
Why do you look so sad? -
Gratitude cheers the heart and a medicine for the soul.
It is the little things that makes a bigger impact
Watch out for the things that directs you to the correct path

All glory belong to Jesus
Whose love for us endures forever
Whose love for us frees us from our sins

He is the Alpha and Omega
The Beginning and The End

He is the One who is,
who always was and who is still to come

He is the one that opens and no one can shut
and the one who shuts and no one can open

Worthy is His name
Worthy is the lamb that was slain
Worthy is He that is risen

Glory to the Father, for giving us such love
Glory to the Father for sheltering us
Glory to the Father for giving us everlasting life
Thank you for stopping by
