“Treasure Trove of Information”

'Lord, you will keep us safe, out of the reach of the wicked.
Even though they strut and prowl, tolerating and celebrating what is worthless and vile, you will still lift up those who are yours!'

Psalms 12:7-8 TPT

Grace, mercy and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. Bless you!

May is almost done,
It is the last May bank holiday in the UK
Love that this month, including today three bank holidays!

Thank you for walking with me this month
Thank you for having a look at the treasures in the vault
May the Lord’s face shine upon you
May the Lord bless and keep you
May the Lord direct your footsteps
In Christ Jesus
Amen.

In the journey of life
Hearing the birds sing
made me know that Spring is here!
As I listen to them sing
I smile as the sun shines
Bringing light to the eyes
Summer is round the corner
Spring is almost gone
But now the day gets
brighter and longer!

Glory to You Lord, God
For You are my lamp
You enlighten my darkness
For by You I will not fear
By my God I can run through
The shadows of death
For His ways is perfect

Thank You Lord God
For You have strengthen me
Through this month
Even when my body gave way
You have been faithful
Giving strength to the weary
And opening the chains of all
who are bound
Thank You Jesus
For choosing me.

As I reflect on the month of May,
I thank God that He works in us both
to will and to do for His good pleasure
For when I am doing the things I shouldn’t do
Or when I start to doubts
Lord, You teach me the ways I should go
You bring the right people to guide me
For I know that the flesh nothing good dwells in it
For the flesh only seeks things of the world
And it desire is the path of death
Which is meaningless!

I thank my God through Jesus Christ our Lord
We has saved me, and not condemn me
For by His strength the Spirit of the Lord
He leads me in the right path
In Him I delight and enjoy the
good pleasure of His presence.
Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord
I praise God for your life
May He teach you
His way as you walk in His foot path
In the Name of Jesus
Amen

Learning to Live LIFE in Christ Jesus

'for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]— '

2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP

Happy Friday! Hope your week was good. It is the bank holiday weekend. The end of May. God is good, all the time. This week I was encouraged, challenged and blessed. 😀

The Word of God always blesses me, encourages me at the right time and also challenges my beliefs or when I think I know it all.

One things is God is good, always, no doubts. He sees you and me and loves us very much. God is good.

For we walk by Faith not by sight: One of my favourite quotes in my heart when things seem to go the other way than expected. To encourage my soul and keep my heart from losing hope. So I make it my aim to be well pleasing to God through Christ Jesus.

Not by works for that only makes me a slave to the flesh
It is grace that gives me hope
It is grace that has got me this far
It is grace that shows me faith is better
Faith is a shield and a gift
So I smile because
Blessed are those that do
not have to see to believe
Yes, faith is not walking blindly
It is walking in the dark with a light that is brighter than darkness
For the darkness is as light in the presence of the Lord

How wonderful it is to read the scriptures and learn from it. Life is a puzzle and the pieces do come together at different times in life. One ponders and meditates on the work of Paul in the book of 2 Corinthians 5. Verses 1 – 8: Living by Faith

Oh the joy of the life
and the darkness that wants to overshadow
and darkens the path of righteousness
But it can never overcome the Joy of the Lord
No matter what, God will build His house
that no human hands have built
and it will last forever in the heavenly realm

To echo the voice of Paul
To live is Christ and to die is gain.
Oh the joy of the life
Sing to the Lord a new song

I ponder on the verses: living by faith (1-8). Looking at Adam and Eve as they found themselves outside the protection of God and because they believe in a lie.

There faith was shaken alone
But the presence of God with them gave them
the assurance that He will bring restoration to them.
He will save them.
His promise is bigger than our failures.
He is God and He is good.
In Him we have assurance of things hoped for and the things unseen.
In Him alone our faith grows as we listen to His words.

Paul directs our eyes out of our ourselves to look up. Looking inward leads to despair but when we… ‘Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. ‘ Colossians 3:2. Then we can live with joyful confidence. We learn to live for the gospel not things in the world that will surely pass.

Joyful comes from the HEART - our living.
What does it mean to walk by faith?
I ponder as I listen to the birds singing - I love hearing them. 🙂

The presence of the Lord is a matter of faith
Everyday, everything I do it is by faith
Faith is what pleases God
Walking is not everyone’s thing to do
During the week can you or I work by faith
Cook by faith, speak by faith, love by faith
The common daily activities done by faith
Pray by faith

One day, we will see God by sight
In the meantime while we are on earth
The remarkable gift from God to all human is faith
Going to bed and waking up the next day is faith
Everyone believes in something
Money, work, parents, children, the list goes on..
They all perish and vanish, this is meaningless

One day the music will stop, the dance will slow down
and stop and we will face our God
And it will either be joyful or sorrow but
All will stand still and know that truly there is a God
Yes for now we walk by faith

Hallelujah the Lord Jesus is alive
He is risen and because He is
I have a future and a purpose
Hallelujah grace is for all
Thank You God for giving me hope
Thank You God that my confident is You
Jesus Christ.

“Treasure Trove of Information”

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16 NKJV

Grace, mercy and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in the truth and Love.

God is good and His mercy endures forever
Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty
The whole earth is full of His glory
Our God is good

This weekend, I reflect and think of listening. Be a good listener.

The act of listening!
It is a gift
To stop and make an effort to hear something
To be quiet and not have a word in
Is a gift
And it is an action

Are you listening!

There is time for everything
A time to be born
A time to die
A time to tear
A time to sew
A time to listen
A time to talk

I know that whatever God does
It shall be forever
Nothing can be added to it
And nothing can be taken away from it
God does it and we must stand in awe and worship the King

It is time to listen to the Lord our God

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
Yes, so I say in my heart
The walk with Lord is not an easy path
One must persevere in all things
And trust in the Lord our God.

There is a time to walk
A time to sit
A time to rest
A time to be still
As sun shines on all
So does the light goes out on all
One day we will give an account of life itself
So do not let your mouth cause you to sin
Watch what you say before the Lord
For an error can be costly

Hope you had a good weekend.

Come follow me to the treasure vault. No time to stop. You have heard there is a time forever thing. And the Lord has made everything beautiful in its time.

My Saturday was good and we thank God. As I got up to do my morning run, it was one of those days. It was windy and cold. Had my gloves on and scarf. Also I was not in the mood of running but I stepped outside to let the cool breeze on my face.

Why do I run??

Good question, I ask myself that question all the time… do I love it… I don’t know… the debate is still on… but I do love the after feeling…

Let’s get this in the open, feelings come and go and one must not go with feelings but listen to the body. If you run there are days when you do not feel like running but at the end if you decide to run then you are glad you did it.

So I run and listen to the wind, the birds, the dogs, the steps, the cars, people, and even the river makes a sound.

Are you listening?

This was my taught, as I walked into the room to listen to  “God’s Big Story” – Catalyst Theology Foundations Training, by Jonathan Bell on Hebrews. This Saturday. His first question was “Are you listening”

Think carefully, before saying a word – at words of the prophet Samuel.. ‘Speak God I am listening’

Do not be hearer of the word but also doers.

Some of the key takeaways as I listen:

The Book of Hebrew writer:

  • Wants to urge the readers in his days to keep going, to persevere, to remain faithful to the very end. And the same to us today as we journey through life.
  • We are here in this world to rule, reign and have dominion over all things. This is broken and distorted but Jesus came to redefine what it means to rule, to reign, to have dominion, to exercise power and authority. He shows us that it means being quick to forgive, to show grace, to love your enemies, to seek their well-being above your own. This is what it means to be truly human! – Figure that out!
  • Unplug from your everyday activity once a week – now this is a challenge. When we rest – God is our priority and true source of rest. Christ is our righteousness, hope, identity, and security.
  • Christ is our King and Priest according to Melchizedek
Christ:
He has no beginning and no end
He is superior to all priests from the tribe of Levi
He lives forever to make intercession for us
He is glorious because He is both King and Priest

Are you listening…

It was a good way to spend the Saturday

We must remember -
God gives us the gifts and strength to keep going and never give up.
Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Learning to Live LIFE in Christ Jesus

'And this is no empty hope, for God himself is the one who has prepared us for this wonderful destiny. And to confirm this promise, he has given us the Holy Spirit, like an engagement ring, as a guarantee. '

2 Corinthians 5:5 TPT
Old T-Shirst written – Reifel Bird Sanctuary

Happy Friday! Hope your week was good. Mine was full of tests. Test! I do not like tests – it is necessary to take a test. A pilot must take a test and pass to fly the plane. A driver must take the test to pass and drive on the road, one hopes as some may need to retake the test 😀

Yes, tests are a necessary part of the journey.

This week in the midst of all work, one would have to fight for the peace and joy from the Lord. Standing Guard. How wonderful it is to be still and know that the Lord is God and He is great. How glorious to come to understanding that the Lord Jesus loves me no matter what. How peaceful it is to know that nothing can separate us from the love of God through Christ Jesus. And above all my engagement ring the Holy Spirit, leads me in the right path.

So I take heart and know that my Lord Jesus overcame it all.

I cast my crown of pride at the foot of the cross
I look to the Lord my God
He is strong and mighty in battle
He has looked upon His servants
And redeem my soul

How wonderful it is to read the scriptures and learn from it. Life is a puzzle and the pieces do come together at different times in life.

One ponders and meditates on the work of Paul in the book of 2 Corinthians 4. Verses 17 – 18.

Paul knew what suffering was and when he said it is small, it is small. His track record says it all.. Shipwrecked, Prisons, Beaten, Stoned, the list goes on… . In our eyes it might seem bigger but Paul says it is small and will not last long. Why?

‘For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.’….. (17-18 NLT)

Affliction:
It is physical and temporary
Better to have a temporary affliction
Then a life of torment and permanent affliction in eternity.

My soul, don’t listen to lies
Let our eyes be fixed on the Lord
Our Light affliction:
My soul,
Compares to what others go through it is light
A woman in labour screams pain
Does it last? It might seem like it
But the child in hand, makes the pain worth it.
So we can say it is light because we know the end result
We can say it is light compared to what Jesus did for us
To what we deserve it is light.

Our affliction is the tunnel that one goes through
It is not a process that one endures to reach glory
One passes through the tunnel to glory
We see the light at the end of the tunnel
So we have hope and walk the journey
Our affliction is light because of the glory that it leads to.
The light of the affliction can never compare to the weight of the glory

My soul we have a choice in life
Our walk with God
Is letting go of every fleshy desires that tries to outweigh the glory of God
They are light and can be easily shed through the power of the Holy Spirit
Our affliction either brings us closer to God and we focus on the things unseen to produce a glory that outweighs the affliction
Or we lose focus and look at the affliction and that becomes a burden too heavy to carry producing hatred, self-focus and misery.

My soul the Lord is good
And His mercy endures forever
Remember and make a note of the goodness of God
Giving thanks in all things
He is always faithful
Bless the Lord
O my soul
