Good bye 2020: Perfect Vision ??

Set a guard, O Lord , over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.
Do not incline my heart to any evil thing,
To practice wicked works With men who work iniquity;
And do not let me eat of their delicacies. Psalms 141: 3-4 NKJV

Www p5K Day 29,30

Father, thank You for 2020
The perfect vision to You God
As we start the New Year 2021
Let my mouth think before it speaks
For You have given me one mouth
And two ears for a reason
To speak less and listen more
Help me to accomplish Your purpose in my life
In Jesus’ name, amen

Wow the end of 2020 what a year it has been.

January: I had a vision: 20:20 perfect vision
I had all these plans
Many are the plans in a man’s heart
But it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21)

One of the thing that became very clear to me
As the year draws to close
Did I achieve all the plans that I set out
No, but it was good to plan

Yes, because an intelligent person aims at wise action
But a fool will always starts off in many direction
Having direction laid the plan of action
It was a detour because life is never straight
And no one goes from A to B in a straight line

Knowing where we are headed
Will allow us to stay on solid ground
Trusting in God for He knows best
Enabling us to choose the most excellent way of all
Moving with the wind.

One of the highlights of 20:20
John 20:20, In John 20:19 Jesus says
Peace be with you
Jesus appeared in 20:20 of John’s gospel
To the disciples showing His hands and His side
Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord
Now this year, so many of us have gone closer to the Lord

We have seen the Lord
His sides, His hands, His Love, and His healing among many
As I recall 2020 the perfect vision
We see the dark and light in 20:20
We see the healing side and know that God is still in the healing business
We see that many died but they will never be forgotten

In this Year it took me back to Ruth and Boaz
As we start to see that this was serious
and not going away any time soon
I see people helping the less able
Taking food to the elderly
Buying a simple milk or connecting them to the internet to have chats with others
Yes I see a lot of Ruths finding ways to help their loved ones
And strangers. The Love of GOD was present in 20:20
And Boaz looking out for the ones that are working to make ends meet
It was not a good year with lots of job cuts
but we had a furlong scheme that helped a little
and I think it better than nothing
Some lost their jobs
There was so many Ruth’s and Boaz around
Helping others get by
I want to say THANK YOU

This 2020, well Britain has left the EU
What next? Only God knows
We will have to face the consequences of our decision
Like Saul was chosen and He failed
Let us pray that this will end with
us NOT in exile for forty years

Questions were asked as the year comes to an end
I have learned so much about myself
To never be discouraged and never give up when I stumble
It takes a lifetime to build a Christ-like character
For as David served the purpose of God in his generation
So will I in my generation

Never give up on yourself for God has not,
Remember you will be dead if He did
Why give the enemy a footstool?

2021, whatever your plan is..
Trust it to God for His plans endures forever and
He only wants what good for those who love Him

My personal highlights is blogging
I want to say THANK You to everyone
May this year end with you having that vision for life in 2021
Have a wonderful year end and May God smile at you everyday

However you spend it
Enjoy the year end and I will see you
Next Year by God's Grace and
It has been a pleasure to share my thoughts
Thank you everyone
You are awesome!

Season’s Greeting!

Walking in the rain

“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
Therefore I hope in Him!”
Lamentations 3:24 NKJV
Wwwp5K day 14: just my taught as I type on the phone app.

Thank You Jesus for You alone are
the True Shepherd

Today is a raining day
Yes it is not a weather forecast
Should I say it is
Seems to rain most days this December

Working from home has some perks
Don’t need to run to catch the train
or bus but I do need to have an internet
Not today, wow what do I do with myself

No internet for a whole day
I could get angry or
just get out of the house
Good idea let’s go for a walk

Grabbed my raincoat and camera
Looks like it might rain
Managed a few shot
And as luck will have it

It did start to rain
Should I say poured down
As I stood under the shade of a house
Waiting for the rain to calm down

My mind as usual starts to wonder off
Today is not your day
So I decided to walk back under rain
It was not a pleasant walk

Amazing did not get soaked bad
Got home and still no internet
Well I could write don’t need internet
Could read don’t also need internet

Settle for reading:
“There are six things
the Lord hates— no,
seven things he detests:

haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
hands that kill the innocent,
a heart that plots evil,
feet that race to do wrong,

a false witness who pours out lies,
a person who sows discord in a family.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭6:16-19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Thank You Father for today another day
To remind me of Your goodness and mercy
To also show me the things that You hate
Help me Lord Jesus to walk with You, amen.

Thank you for stopping by. May the Spirit cause this season to bring comfort, assurance and gladness as you go about your day. In Jesus Name, Amen.

ADVENT – FOCUS

The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary,
for you have found favor with God. Listen carefully:
you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son,
and you shall name Him Jesus.
Luke 1:30-31 AMP
Thank You Father that wisdom starts
With asking You, and You give to all
No judgement or reproach

Today, I listen  to You and
not on my own understanding
For You are a shield to all
Who works in integrity

For it was when Jesus came
The NIGHT, THAT NIGHT, it changed the world
The Shepherds were the first
to know and worship You Lord

That night shows us what the Kingdom of God is like
It shows us that Your wisdom is different
Doesn’t required money, power or fame
To get the work done

Forgive me for losing the focus
And not adjusting the camera
For every picture taken
the same lens is used

Help me to always readjust the lens of the camera
Because every scene requires a different focal point
And I need to adjust my aperture
To ensure the view is not blur or out of focus

Thank You for reminding me
In the season of celebrating
The Little things matters to You
The ones that are forgotten, lonely and away from society
Are Your heart.
Help me to adjust in every situation
And to be part of it
In Jesus Name, Amen

Season’s Greeting!

GOOD NEWS

“Praise be to the exalted Lord God of Israel,
for he has seen us through eyes of grace,
and he comes as our Hero-God to set us free!
Luke 1:68 TPT

Happy Holidays!!
2013-Holiday in Vienna
Glory to God in the highest
And on Earth Peace
Goodwill toward everyone

Lord God thank You for the past months
It is NOT perfect but
You are with us
so that makes it perfect

As we celebrate the
Birth of Christ and looking at the
Advent, 2020 means something to all
What it means to me right now is
Father, You have made a way

John the Baptist showed us
What making a way was like
In the darkest of time
Christ was born

The first of many miracles happen
on that day it revealed
the glory of the Name of Jesus
Lord on that very night that Christ was born
You did it, no home to lie His head
But You showed us that our ways of Kingship
And Your ways is different

You provided the manger for Him to sleep
And that was the right place and different
The angels to proclaim to the shepherds
The good news
The shepherds to be the first to see
The main Shepard in His glory.

He was the main Shepard and the Saviour
In the fields He was born
With the sheep and
Humble He came, as a servant
In Your kingdom it is different

This year You have made a way
A provision because You knew
That this was not going to be easy
For a lot of us

Isolation is not part of the Kingdom of God
Togetherness, celebration and forgiveness
Is one of the many qualities You have provided

The internet has brought this to the house of many
who would have been left alone and away
from the society as a whole
This has made more people come together

It is different not ideal but
better than nothing
We are more connected than ever before
This shows that You knew
what was needed before it happened

Thank You Father
Jehovah Jerah
For giving us the light
Jesus our light
Let us take with us the light to those
Who sit in the darkness and the shadow of death
Guide our feet into the way of peace

Season’s Greeting!

“Nugget of Information”

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction,
that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures
we might have hope. Romans 15:4 ESV

London, Covent Garden, 2018
The nugget for the the day is REST

R - review the day both in the morning
and evening by taking time to reflect
on what God did and what He will do (expectancy)
If God said to write something down,
then it must be good for us.

Remember [with awe and gratitude] the wonderful things
which He has done, His amazing deeds and the judgments
uttered by His mouth [on His enemies, as in Egypt],
Psalms 105:5 AMP

Writing it down means we remember the goodness of
God and we can also share it with others.
It also brings encouragement and hope
I always find that my heart swells up when
I read my old journal of prayers
and thanks.
Or sometimes it brings back memories:
oh yes I did ask for that wow God You listen.

Imagine if Paul did not write how he met Jesus.
The Bible is our example of why we should write
things down.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,
but you shall meditate on it day and night,
so that you may be careful to do according to
all that is written in it.
For then you will make your way prosperous,
and then you will have good success.
Joshua 1:8 ESV

Imagine if Moses had not written anything down
anything and said I will remember.
We read it and that tells us who He is.

I like tangible evidence.

In my time of rest, I will write down what You have done for me. Lord Help me to always remember to write it down Not just for myself but to give You glory and praise.

Exercise the mind:
Meditating on the word day and night.
The world says empty your mind, Jesus says if you empty your mind and not fill it up with the things of God then we call the trouble in not just one but seven. Matthew 12:43-45. Think about it.

God says meditate on my word day and night.
Do not let it depart from you.

Thank You Father that Your word is a Lamp to my feet and a light to my path, may I always recognise and look to You in Jesus name. Amen

Sleep:
The first thing we experience when God created us was to rest, when Adam was created on the six day,
God rested on the seven day and
that says a lot about it.

I have always found it fascinating the way
God has built our body to heal itself naturally.
Which is why it is nice to journal the thoughts in our head before bed, thinking too much can lead to
sleepless nights.

It is while we sleep that the body starts to work. If we can't get any sleep then it is always a good idea to get some help. It easier said than done, but seeking advice is better than a sleepless night.

Time and Thanks:
Time waits for no one and it is something
everyone has in common.
Twenty-four hours, use it wisely and it will
be your friend.

He has made everything beautiful in its time.
Also He has put eternity in their hearts,
except that no one can find out the work
that God does from beginning to end.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV

Take time to say thanks to the people around you.
It is a season to be grateful and no excuse is better than “It's Christmas, and I am in the Christmas mood and want to say thank you for this year."

In everything give thanks to our God.

Thank You Father, for this year. It had its ups and
downs, I will say possibly more downs than ever.
But what I have come to know is that You have been there
through it all. I have seen Your faithfulness in my life
and my loved loves. Some are not here anymore, and that
is Your will. God help me to remember that Your ways are
not my ways and Your thoughts are not mine. Forgive me
for trying to manipulate You, for doing what I want
forgetting that You know best and see everything.
Let me be Humble to remember and give thanks for
everything, In Your Son’s name. Amen.
