Praises –

02:

O LORD, You are my God
I will exalt You
I will praise Your Name,
For You have done wonderful things
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth
Isaiah 25:1 NKJV
Southwark Park, London
Why do you look so sad? -
Gratitude cheers the heart and a medicine for the soul.
It is the little things that makes a bigger impact
Watch out for the things that directs you to the correct path

All glory belong to Jesus
Whose love for us endures forever
Whose love for us frees us from our sins

He is the Alpha and Omega
The Beginning and The End

He is the One who is,
who always was and who is still to come

He is the one that opens and no one can shut
and the one who shuts and no one can open

Worthy is His name
Worthy is the lamb that was slain
Worthy is He that is risen

Glory to the Father, for giving us such love
Glory to the Father for sheltering us
Glory to the Father for giving us everlasting life
Thank you for stopping by
God bless you in your journey

Secure yourself to the amazing Father
and the Lord of our Saviour Jesus Christ

Walk in His promises for Your life
Write them down

Say them out loud to yourself or anyone who will listen

Glorify His name especially in the bad weathers
His promises are trustworthy all the time

“Treasure Trove of Information”

The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes
He is close to those who trust in Him
Nahum 1:7 NLT

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour

Happy that you stopped by, and I hope you had a lovely weekend.

As I walk, through the Book of Revelation with my Church family I am having to look inwards.

To see the First Love,
the excitement of my first love.

I remember those days, the freedom, the joy and
the heart pumping that you will think
it is going to burst out of your chest.

Love brings endurance that you never knew you had
Love gives you the time because there's always time
When it comes to love
You find that time

I could go on about love, because I love love
It brings a smile to my face

So glad you stopped by, let us enter the vault. It is about reflecting on the inside, looking at what do I take as false comforter. This morning, I listen to the Bible reading story and yes one of my false comforter is food, another is binge watching TV shows and working.

It is a false comforter and never brings satisfaction to me, not sure about you? So I have come to learn the act of fasting and it is about loving ourselves and looking inside out. Please note that this is information only and not an advice please seek medical advice before embarking on any fasting journey.

Fasting is an ancient tradition and has been practiced by many cultures and religions over the century. This is now a trend and got some attention in the scientific communities. Not only does it help with the weight loss but it also has the potential to produce other health benefits.

Intermittent fasting:

According to Wikipedia: Intermittent fasting, also known as intermittent energy restriction, is an umbrella term for various meal timing schedules that cycle between voluntary fasting (or reduced calorie intake) and non-fasting over a given period

Restricting calorie intake to a particular times of day, or days of the week this is designed to lower the overall calorie intake and encourage fat burning and weight loss

Ways to make use of the intermittent fasting

  1. Skipping breakfast also extends the fasting period which can be beneficial:
  2. Avoid sugar and refined grains, and only snack on  fruits, vegetables, beans, lentils, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats (a sensible, plant-based, Mediterranean-style diet).
  3. Allow your body to burn the fats between meals which means no snacking. Only breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  4. Consider a simple form of intermittent fasting. Limit the hours of the day when you eat, and for best effect, make it earlier in the day (between 7 am to 2 pm, or even 9 am to 5 pm, but definitely not in the evening before bed).
  5. Avoid snacking at night and eating at night.

Care:  Intermittent fasting is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or growing children and adolescents, or individuals vulnerable to eating disorders.

Benefits to intermittent

Simple rules and easy to follow – drawback is the possibility of extreme hunger, headaches and tiredness on fast days.

Reduced food costs – drawback can be hard to keep it up over a long period.

Also frees up time spent in preparing meals – drawback is some people can believe that fasting can lead to unhealthy obsession with food.

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord
I praise God for your life
May He teach you
His way as you walk in His foot path
In the Name of Jesus
Amen

Remember,
We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.
Be bless and know that the Lord loves you

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:

'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV

Acuity

It is wisdom that we need in life
She calls out loud and listens

Wisdom calls
Do not be wise in your own eyes

Wisdom calls
Is looking outward important

For who cleans only the outside of their cup
Oh how life can be quarrel

Mighty is the Lord
And blessed are the ones who listens and obeys
Thank You for stopping by.

Inspired by the Ragtag Daily prompt

Knowledge

'For no matter how many promises God has made,
they are “Yes” in Christ.
And so through him the “Amen”
is spoken by us to the glory of God. '

2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV
Southwark Park, London. I do love it when the flowers grow in it season. For everything and everyone has a season.
Happy Friday! Amen and thank You LORD
Yahweh, The Lord,
The God of compassion and Mercy
Who is always faithful and
Lavishes us with His Unfailing Love

I will smile to that
I will scream and shout for Joy
I will speak of His goodness to all

The fear of the Lord
is the beginning of Knowledge

Knowledge, is great to have
I have heard of this, so many times
Knowledge is power

Is it?
I sit and reflect on knowledge
Is knowledge by itself power

The fear of the Lord
Is the beginning of knowledge

So many paradox in life
Looking at the books on the self
Dust gathering, so much information

Yet it is still in the shelf
Yet the shelf is full with so much knowledge

I have come to learn
I have come to understand
I have come to know that the Lord shows up all the time

Knowledge is power
Knowledge becomes the sword that cuts everything
Knowledge is powerful in the hands of the one that wields the sword

So I pick up my Sword of the Spirit
The Sword that will never leave you the same

Yes I have been reflecting on knowledge
Yes I believe in the Lord
Yes I believe that God will break the unbreakable

The fear of the Lord
is the beginning of Knowledge

Anything else is an addition to the journey
Picking up as I run the marathon
But fools despise wisdom and instruction

So the journey is all alone
Even when wisdom calls out loud
Do not block your ears with the cares of the world

But seek the Lord and all His righteousness
Turn to Him, and never forget to glorify the Lord

It takes very little to please me
It takes a smile to bring a smile to my face
It takes a compliment to bring joy to my heart

Walking into the unknown

I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever
Nothing can be added to it
And nothing taken from it.
God does it, that men should fear before Him

Ecclesiastes 3:14 NKJV
Southwark Park, London

Life in the Unknown world continues.. as we meet a new character Cassa. Welcome to the world of walking into unknown places and life in general.

The story continues…

If we go in now then we will not accomplish the task that needs to be done.

As they moved behind the house, there was a tree looking into the house. Athan linked his fingers together and Cassa rose and placed a foot in his hands. Stepping up, she climbed and peered over the window ledge and into the room beyond.

Sitting behind the desk was Fulrose, Nwe sitting on the bed speaking without hearing. Watching them in silence, and moving back down. It is pointless, I can’t hear or see the lips to know what they are speaking about. I say we get in now and get it over with, said Cassa.

Athan shook her head. They are quick study and very observant. Fulrose has the sword and it knows me. Also Nwe is attached to me and will pick me up from a mile. I had to camouflage and stay five miles away, and I could tell she was looking around and alert but could not see me.

What do you suggest we do? Cassa looked around. The others have disappeared and it will take two weeks to find and gather them together.

That is exactly why we need a distraction and a way to get them out of the house. I need to know how to break this unfortunate bond between her and me, and get the sword in the process.

Fulrose yawned, they had dinner already but something was off as she looked at Nwe. Did you sense that we were being watched? Don’t look around or make any movements.

Yes, said Nwe. he is close by and he is company with him. I am beginning to wonder why not attack now that we are vulnerable and would not want to draw any attention to ourselves. Do you think we need to move?

Looking at the side of the window and it was dark and could just about see the figure going down the trees. Shifting she stretched her legs as she rubbed one leg and moved to the other.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I seem to like the short story in the moment 🙂

This is a journal of imaginative mind, fiction and also not much editing letting the words flow. Come back next week to see what happens. For as humans we need to be creative, use imagination and be the best version of ourself. Just like our Father wants us to be.

Who knows the mind of a human, only God!

I do love the Lord and I love that you took the time to read my blog. Bless you.

Have a wonderful day 🙂
